It will destroy the relay if not taken down, a few relays have been destroyed before and some have been rebuilt

If too many get destroyed they would just add another relay rebuild event, so the will always be at least 1
On PC we have 4 of the 7 relays available while switch has 5

yes, events like these are rigged. it will get destroyed whenever de decides to do so. considering that one of relays was rebuilt not so long ago, we might actually see this happen some time soon,
wasn't the relay rebuilding introduced so events are no longer rigged? Now we should be able to lose it and rebuild it once Cressa Tal decides it's time.

Until there's additional information that Relay Reconstruction will be a thing that'll occur more from time to time, I say it's safe to assume the event is rigged.
The one and only time any relay got destroyed was back during the event that first introduced the Balor Fomorians. Conveniently, during that event, exactly 3 relays survived on each platform - one MR0 relay, one MR4 relay, and one MR8 relay (and the locations of those surviving relays varied between PC and console). Since then, no reoccurring Fomorian attack has destroyed anything, even when much of the community specifically made a point of doing nothing to stop it. All the evidence is circumstantial, but it points very heavily towards the Fomorian events being prescripted events.

you know what bugged me? that you only get 200k after the first successful mission, then no matter how many times you redo it, you get nothing

thats because its a one time thing

hm, most of the fomorian drops are pretty good Archwing mods. Throw in the modest chance for the imp vandall parts and you r good to go.

if we let it get destroyed
will we get new weapon?
like the one from the event?
BlueBomber Oct 3, 2019 @ 5:11am
Those are rigged, nothing will happen.

That's odd. I got 3.6 million on my first run this event time.
In the past I seem to remember being able to go back in to get the 1m when I couldn't get 1m+ in a single run, unless they changed it and made it one try only.

he means you don't get more 200K credits after you get 1M+ points so there isn't much point rerunning it unless you are after the archwing mods or imp V

Probably a mix of both cases. The event is likely arranged so that if the devs want a relay destroyed, there would be nothing players could do about it, and at the same time devs could just intervene and protect the relay by making the Fomorian's hps drop on it's own. Meanwhile if the devs don't care one way or another, they just let the players' actions determine the survival or not of the relays.

That would give the most control to the devs, while letting things play out normally in most cases.
Rigged or not, if we don't play it, DE will definitely wipe out the relay in question to scare the hell out of us and make us play the next time. They won't care as long as there is at least 1 relay up.

In Eyes of Blight event, people refused adamantly to play it, despite the rewards. They actually put the foot on the floor sharply saying "not playing fckn Archwing missions. It's sht, Sht, SHT!". They thought it was rigged as well, and that DE would never do such thing, or at least that we wouldn't loose more than 1-2 relays. They relied on the few Archwingers in the game to do the grind. There was simply not enough people to save the relays and DE was determined to destroy at least a small amount. Refusal to grind it was the excuse that DE needed to create the chaos they did. One way or another, we... ok, I didn't even know about a Video Game called Warframe back then, so, them, the elders, inherited us the chaos and controversy around it. We didn't need to loose so many relays, but the elders asked for it with their attitude.

About the raids: DE probably had Law of Retribution ready to deploy as a consequence of the event. It's sad that we lost that raid--and it's Nightmare version--as that was our vendetta for what Vay Hek did. That's where we actually killed him.

Anyways, grind it if even just for the mods and Imperator Vandal parts. You never know. Specially now that we finally have mechanics to rebuild relays (took years for that to come up.)
