Is Warframe too hard to get into?

I was reading some comments in another forum about Warframe.

One person stated they gave up and never even figured out how to get another frame.. and I saw many comment they found Warframe "more difficult to get into".

Having played for 250 hrs myself without knowing how to craft a base frame or knowing I could craft more than one thing at a time and only learning everything after joining a clan and being helped, I can sympathize.

I really feel this is wrong. I wish the devs could make things such as where the frames drop from clearer for people in game. It is kind of sad to see so many people give up on a game due to the game itself being vague.

I understand the idea of making things difficult to understand puts some element mystery in the game but basic things like getting a new frame should not be that difficult to understand.
Especially as the appeal for this game is more than just for MMO type players who may have a better grasp of these sorts of mechanics.

tl;dr - DE should make basic things like getting new base frames be clearly explained in game, even if it is a reward table at the end that shows all the possible drops from that boss and checks off what you have. Anything is better than nothing.

while its closer to a shooter, think of it as an MMO in that regard. It takes some time to earn the best stuff and get going. Its not 'too hard' -- if you enjoy the game, you will play it. If you play it, you will make steady progress. If you just want to start at the end, already maxed out -- yea, that is 'hard' or 'expensive' to do. There isnt any sense in that, there is no real pvp nor endgame so getting maxed out in a rush is kind of silly.

As someone else already said, warframe is not good at explaining things, sadly.
however warframe is not a hard game once you know what to do.
so wiki really helps.

also just started playing and no its not hard because the community is very helpful
