Then from there, please explain to me how them giving the Plains a graphical pass, which mostly includes retexturing, creating some new models+textures for updating trees and the various foliage/clutter laid out around the map, adjusting light values, implementing new visual effects here and there, and updating AI navigation paths to work with the map's added geometry. Tell me how that gets in the way of the writing team working to discuss where they take the story, and then finalizing scripts and getting them in the hands of the audio teams and voice actors.
That's like complaining about the guys ( was it even multiple people or just one guy? [DE]Steve said it was one guy's work mostly during a devstream ) who were working on the Shawzin are the reason the New War is taking so long to get here.
Also is it bad storytelling, or just a story you don't like? There is a difference.
