Master, Middle master , Grand master achievement

can someone explain me how it is possible that 1.3% of warframe"steam" players got this achievement while it's impossible to even become Master" rank" with actual mastery xp limitation?

Seem's like 1.3% of players have been using achievement scripts... lol

There is 3rd party program to unlock all achievements for any game.

The sad thing is, more people have cheated in that Steam achievement than have actually built their own Moa. Least-earned achievement, in fact, is for riding 1kk meters on a K-Drive.

Do not be concerned, those that use SAM to unlock achievements are often banned, we had a guy complaing the other day that he was banned "for no reason", but players quickly realized he unlocked many achievents at the same time, he instantly placed the profile as "private" and quickly faded away in the topic, as he was caught exploiting the system.

The only way to have the image of the rank 30 to be used on your ship OR the dojo is to buy the note beacon in the market and use the available space to type <RANK_30>

im sorry to disappoint you, but valve dont really care about it, i know a lot of people who used it, some used it to the point where all their games had every achievement, and theyre still going around just fine

I don't mean steam, i mean DE themselves.
Support has a few blacklisted programs that are compared with the running processes that you have, every now and then players do get banned by unlocking achievements with SAM

DE won't ban folks for this. At least I have never heard about it. Perhaps that guy had another reason for his ban. Using SAM tends to mean the player has other character flaws.

Anway, Steam Achievements... have the same value as used toilet paper. Both are more useful when buried and forgotten.

Once you know about SAM... you just can't give a rodent's behind for Steam ACHs. Worthless.

It's literally been 5 years since this "problem" surfaced for Warframe ^_^. I first noticed it around MR 18 or so? Never expect Valve to 'fix' this, is what I'm saying. Ask SAM's dev if he has ever heard from Valve. At all.

PS It used to be 1.2% so I guess the influx of new players likewise meant an increase in a certain type of gamer.

PSS As always, if you want to really know... look at the time/date of the individual achievements. Pretty easy to spot. Not only are most of them lazy, but awfully dumb as well.

This is 100% false. Valve doesn't ban people for using SAM, in fact, nobody has ever been banned for it. If people get banned it's for other reasons. Valve doesn't care about it since achievements do absolutely nothing for you and is in no way gaining an advantage or exploiting games online.

People toss around this rumor a lot as a scare tactic more than anything.

The only way to get banned is by using cheats/scripts/bots/etc. in a VAC protected game and since Warframe is not a VAC protected game, it is impossible for Valve to ban a Warframe player. DE would need to issue the ban and it wouldn't have any impact on their Steam account, only their Warframe account.

Please educate yourself before making up such stories.

There are quite a few forums posts with players that did nothing asside from using SAM or other tools to unlock achievements, they no longer can play the game.

There are thousands of forum posts from people saying "I was banned for no reason" for many games. The fact that you believe it to be true and re-post it as a fact makes you as wrong as them. Nobody just gets a ban for no reason, there is always more to the story. They did more than use SAM.

Like I already said, it is impossible for anyone to get banned for using SAM to unlock an achievement for the simple fact that Valve doesn't have a system in place to detect if you modified a local file. They only have VAC which only works if you're using third party tools on a VAC protected server. VAC doesn't issue bans for people who modify local client files. I know this for a fact because I used to make custom skins/sounds for many people to customize their Steam client. If what those people say is true, I would've been banned a thousand times over, as well as all the people who used skins from me.

I have even used SAM in the past when achievements were bugged and refused to unlock and I have never had any issues nor have I ever spoke to anyone who has used SAM to have any issues. If there was a tool to detect people using SAM and gave them a ban, 100% of SAM users would be banned and not just a few here and there.

Well, SAM can be usefull if steam decided to forget an achievement... thanks to that I managed to unlock Rifle Proficiency 1 around one year after Rifle Proficiency 2 and 3.

Saddly some people just want to feel... I dunno... powerfull ? great ? even if it means looking like complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
