Its a time sink. Other games let you wait for the gryphon to ride or simply add ridiciously long travel times. WF adds the must do index runs in between.
If you cannot afford 10000000 credits for a trade chances are you cannot afford twice as much to max out the mod and invest in couple of forma to make it fit. Not to mention the requirement of 40000 endo you need to max it.
Even further, if you do not have enough for that then you do not have any requirement to use such mod, it may look cool but game's progression is set around slow climbs - huge leaps up are not encouraged, you have to work extra hard for them.
Baro brings a mod anyway, if you cannot pay tax, if you cannot max it - why buy it? Just for sake of having it right now? Cause I do not see other excuses, if you thought you can earn it you'd try to farm credits to get it but no... You feel so entitled to it that you made a topic to glorify it? It's a mod, a mod you will get way cheaper if you can wait, maybe even use that time to farm end cause you will need A LOT of it. Few forma's too, tho if your Vitality, Redirection, Steel Fiber, Serration, Hornet Strike are not maxed then it very much sounds like a bad investment to go for a prime mod which you cannot max.... for sake of having it in the inventory, sitting there useless as one, you cannot afford enough endo to make it stronger than a regular version of the same mod and two, once you do - you cannot fit it on any warframes or weapons if they do not have Orokin Reactor/Catalyst and forma.
As mommy used to say, don't bite more than you can chew on, take your time, devs spent years putting things in the right order when you progress and by you hopping over those you will only meet problems. Until the point where you can just afford any stupid decision you make.
Last 2 days I spent over 300 platinum to buy unrolled Sigma & Octantis rivens - for a weapon I do not have. I will have it in couple of days and I know which stats I want on it but I cannot find that on the market, low rolls require less kuva and I find platinum to be less worth than kuva - a farmable resource. Because I can. And you cannot afford the mod because you can't. And one day you will get into my position where you can throw stuff at the wall and see what happens, I only have an idea what should work for a build and no ways to test it.
Even if you get the primed mod you cannot make real use of it....

I had 34 million after the last event and because arbitrations dish out so much endo selling maxed out mods becomes attractive and that drains credits fast.
New players aren't supposed to get those.
They introduced Profit Taker, with a good team and Chroma's Effigy for double credits it is a pretty good credit farm. Pre-made squad with all the elementals carefully placed in their builds so they never have to skip it, maybe Nezha to add status immunity, Oberon or Wisp for heals or buffs, Rhino, Chroma, she can be defeated in less than 4 minutes with ease as people are able to do it in less than 2 minutes. 125k raw credits, 250k by being close to Effigy when you grab it and 500k if you got credit booster on top of that.
For a good squad credit gain far is way better than index no matter how much you tryhard, tho, to my understanding it is not as braindead with Mesa aimbotting everything, Rhino walking around picking up stuff, Nova and EV being bored of spamming one button for hours. Oh and there is a twist, sometimes people go with Sonar Banshee instead of Nova, I know, crazy...
I am not surprised players pick stale braindead farm over learning curve for higher gain because meta was never about efficiency, it was always about not playing the game at all.
If you had credits you could spend them for the trade and this topic would have never existed, but you don't. Everyone can use Cheat Engine to change values, that does not mean server will accept those value, it only means you are due for a ban.
There are no other ways to have 23 million credits and not be able to spend them.
