Having problem with Ivara's navigator

New player here. I'm trying to control my thrown glaive with navigator to take out rows of enemies but for some reason whenever I hit a target, my glaive suddenly swings in a random direction. I hit an enemy out on the plains and instead of going through him, it shot off in a random direction while i'm still controlling it.

Any idea?

Maybe putting some punchthrough on the glaive would stop that for a few enemys but im not really sure.

What Ironslayer said. Glaives naturally bounce around when they hit someone, so it automatically forces an angled bounce without punchthrough. Get your hands on a Power Throw, easily from the Void.

theres a bounce mod too, and it decreases the # of bounces. I don't recall if that is good with ivara or not. I liked it on standard throws (not ivara).

if you do a powered throw by dual wielding with a secondary, it wont bounce off, no mods needed iirc
