Wukong? One every couple of games. Zephyr? Barely ever. Vauban? Once or twice over the past two weeks. Atlas, literally once, and the player was grumbling about how much he sucks.
Wudong is super strong now.
One of the fastest frames with cloud walker
One of the laziest frames with his aimbot clone
One of the highest DPS frame with his 4.
Consistent healing, Very good HP for adaptation tanking with umbral mods
Wudong is in a great spot and I seen him get plenty of use. Zephyr, I don't see that often.
lol My main frames are Excalibur Umbra, Zephyr Prime and Limbo Prime.
Im just too lazy to grind Vauban, but i'd like to play with him.
I got your point, still, Warframe IS about the variety of War-frames and how you use their abilities, for fun. Had plenty of fun using Oberon, healing mates in defense missions, for exemple.
Shouldn't they revisit older frames to bring attention to them?
I never knew about Wukong before the rework and his Prime version were announced.
Now, around 4/10 ~ squads you enter someone is using Wukong Prime.
Of course there are those most used frames for certain tipes of missions (Yes, im looking at you Saryn >:c), since the game is "completely" <(Big quote here) unbalaced on how to handle with individual frame abilities. BUT, grinding your way through the frames for curiosity and experimentation is a LOT of fun and actually, the point of this game.
Im trying to save some plat to buy Mag Prime since i loved her normal variant (Really, very fun gameplay), also Nyx and Amber.
If we talk about usability, the answer is: mods.
I believe, depending on how you mod your favourite frame, he can deal good ammount of damage and have a good survivability, specially agaisn't high level spong... i mean, high level enemies. True that, though, that it will be easier to mod a overpowered frame with overpowered abilities. Still, here is the "end game" (Eh.. sorry for that xD) fun. Experimentation with mods, "weak" frames and weapons.
You will get tired fast if you don't experiment other frames and weapons. It's like a puzzle sometimes. - sometimes -
