Is it worth it to buy Wukong Prime?

Two important factors:

1) I have a pretty good paying job IRL and $30 really isn't that much to me. The absurd price for the full bundle is way more than I would spend on a game, but I ONLY want Wukong Prime, not the weapons or platinum.

2) I am very, very early in the game. I only just hit Jupiter yesterday. There's zero chance of me being able to get Wukong parts either through trading or through relics before he's removed from the active Prime list.

I also don't just want any shiny new Prime, I actually really like Wukong as a frame and want a frontline Prime frame I can make my "main frame" until I've gotten deeper into the game and start drowning in them.

Is it worth buying the DLC?

Its not going anywhere, hes not gonna removed from the prime list. The relics that contain wukong parts still gonna be ingame for a long time.

Its just the prime access going away on 1st october not wukong prime and all its weapons that came with it. The relics will be still ingame.

Prime access only give instant access to the stuff. Its up to you, usually people only buy the prime accesories because thats the only one you cant farm.

Oh, I was under the impression that once the DLC expired on the 1st, Wukong Prime himself was going to be completely retired and I wouldn't know when he would next come back.

What are the Prime accessories? I don't think I've been playing long enough to know what those are.

Do most people completely ignore frames and weapons and only go straight for accessories when Prime Access rolls around?

Pretty much. Gear is easy to farm, but those cosmetics won't be available again for a good few years, since you have to wait until the frame is vaulted and then wait until it is unvaulted for the unvaulting packs.

if you have not been playing long, if you want to spend $$, the things I recommend are frame slots, weapon slots, more frame and weapon slots, and then some frame and weapon slots. If you have enough of those for 1 copy of each frame and a goodly weapon collection, then you might branch out and pick up a premade zaw and kitgun (wait on a good one to pop, changes daily) and possibly the stupidly annoying to farm frames that don't have a prime (atlas, ivara type things). Those last 2 can be farmed/earned, but if you have money to burn... I am like you, I am willing to trade a few bucks to bypass grindage.

what jonnin said, use money for flat platinum is my recommendation if you're gonna do it, but do it when you receive a 50/75% Bonus from the daily rewards (Or dont if you dont care about it)

Buy weapon/frame slots and if you want to upgrade your frames/weapons to the max for the future, buy some Forma bundles.

If you want just the frame, you can get it cheaper thru in-game trading than buying the pack, people usually buy the pack for the plat since it's cheaper than the normal price.

Wu Kong Prime is about roughly 100 Plat if you buy it off the trade chat. If you can't wait for it to finish building, you can rush it but will add on extra plat cost. 25 Plat per parts for the 12 Hour build time and 50 Plat to skip the 3 day build time for the Frame itself.

Imho it is worth it if you are a beginner or new player that hasnt unlocked everything yet.
Dont forget the plat you get is always good to have to buy formas and boosters and other stuff which will safe you a lot A LOT of time.
Imho playing this game without plat (either through ingame trading and farming or paying for it) is unbearable no matter what someone else might say.

Okay, I am DEAD certain I was on a page for Wukong Prime, by himself, with no other additions. Now suddenly I can't track him down on any page that isn't a $70+ bundle. Did I hallucinate the whole thing?
