what is Excalibur Umbra?

I have heard there will be a new Excalibur frame. Is it the start of a another tier in warframes? I mean we have regular then Prime, so is Umbra a new wave of suits? Also does anyone know when Excalibur Umbra is being released??

People speculate it’ll be like a corrupted mod. Bonus in one stat, negative in the other. And Steve I think confirmed he would have slightly different abilities

I am actually a little curious to how this will play out storywise to the China version.

As far as I am aware and have checked, based on videos, they have the exact same build as us with just the difference in language and this means when Excalibur Umbra is released to us in a quest, wouldn't their non-Founders get Excalibur Umbra? (Keep in mind that Excalibur Umbra Prime which looks the same as our Excalibur Umbra is their version of Excalibur Prime)

If DE plans to exclude this quest for China build so their non-Founders do not get a carbon copy of their Excalibur Umbra Prime, then the story for this quest must be something that is not critical to the overall plot.

If DE plans to include the quest for the China Build, they can't just give the same reward, in other words, there is actually a small possibility that there is already another Umbra in design but we may or may not get him/her in the same quest. This could mean Chinaframe will have prior access to that other Umbra and we will have another Umbra to look forward to. (Can't deny that this Umbra hype train is somewhat good for player retention and community interest)

Considering we have prior access to all Primes from the China build, it is not impossible to think that an arrangement has been made to give them prior access to Umbras and this symbiotic hype relation will bring up the hype on both sides. (We hype for Umbras, Chinaframe players hype for Primes)

I have suspected for some time now, that excalibur umbra might be the result of fusing normal excalibur with Stalker, it would explain a few other things such as.

1. Explains why it looks similiar, but has different abilities and possibly different stats.
2. Explains why the quest is called a sacrifice, but as any fusion goes, what you lose in individuals you gain in a stronger combined form.
3. Would put an awsome close to the stalker/ tenno story.
4. And finally due to it's combined nature would most likely be both "confusing" and beyond the control of both Hunhow, Ballas, and maybe even the Lotus, which would also mean the Lotus would gain a way to battle these old and far more powerful enemies, but loses total control over a tenno/you making it a sacrifice for her as well.

I'm going to make a bunch of assumptions and they're going to be completely wrong when Umbra arrives but anyway

There are a few key things the narrator mentions I'm just going to list them
"If you could trade would you"
"All Miracles require sacrifice"
"For their life, yours"

Now this is based on the assumption that stalker killed his operator but what the narrator might be talking is process of how stalker became sentient by killing his operator especially the "for their life, yours" part so basically your warframe could try to kill you in the new quest sacrifice and eventually that will somehow lead you to having a sentient warframe like stalker

that would possibly makle alot of sense, since they teased player stalker mode around the same time and have yet to release that as well.

its not EXACTLY the same, they have a handfull of exclusives and economy is a bit different http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_(China) but the way i see it umbras will not be just reskinned frames, which excalibur umbra prime is. So i dont see a problem for Chinaframe.
