Crackling noise in warframe

Since the update after mirage prime on January 5 th there is a crackling noise when I run warframe and discord it's only warframe and no other game

Wait u can use Discord? I don't know why but I can't use Discord properly with Warframe. The overlay and keybinds do not work at all when I'm in Warframe and makes it think I'm afk in Discord

I don’t really know audio in this game. Never had a problem with it, it may be audio on your computer conflicting with the warframe files, or something happening on the opening of the game, the audio of that would be something like a very loud continuous ringing noise. It could be crackling though, but that mostly happens from headphone cords.

Do you have discord running before Warframe? Is discord updated? Have you tried to restart your computer? It's a bit glitchy for me as well but ever since last discord update it seems to be ok. Before that if I restarted my computer it also tended to start working again.

My younger brother had this problem too, and a workaround for him was turning vsync on, unfortunately. The only other things I can think of is trying different audio outputs (tv, backside or frontside jacks on pc). Also check if your sound driver is up to date. Heck it might even be a result of bad design choice of the motherboard? I doubt it, but still...
