The amount of work that would go into even adding the option would be equal to multiple expansions. First person is not the same as third person from the characters eyes, everything would need to be redone to work in first person: weapons, abilities, movement animations and who knows how many other things. Unless you're ok with a first person that does not show your weapons and abilities that is.
Not entirely true because you could have the camera not spin at all or roll unless needed. Most movements in first person could have the camera fixed and not move with the object.
Instead of a 1st person veiw, I was thinking of adding a non-bias centered camera like from Halo when you mount on a vehicle the camera has a natural centered position and would only shift from left to right depending from the veiwing angles and distances.
First person view
Yeah, that spells vomit fountain for me.
ok, nice suggestion.
No. Thank you. Is my opinion on this matter, I like to keep my beer inside my belly.
What does it show us? It shows us that if some feature's wanted by SOME players, it doesn't mean there's an actual need in this feature at all.
Not ot mention what @Sceles said:

So you just ask devs to put a lot of work and money just to please relatively small part of players. It doesn't seem to be a good idea, in my opinion.
Wow, some games made from the ground up to be 1st person did totally fine!. Who would have known!
That is more or less what these topics amount to even if it's not outright said. The only way I could ever see this done is with strong numbers backing it and while some certainly exist, it doesn't seem to be very many proportionate to the population. I'm not sure how I should end this, by saying good luck? Well, good luck. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but at the same time I don't feel like the game is lacking with it not there.
Secondly, Metroid Prime and Titanfall 2 aren't even similar to Warframe outside of shooting and some parkour. Metroid is about exploration and puzzle solving, Titanfall 2 is pure fast paced CoD style combat, and Warframe is a pseudo-mmo with gameplay mixing acrobatics, gunplay, and melee combat as well as a new open world segment. Plus Metroid and Titanfall don't have anything close to space combat, which Warframe also has. Let's just compare A Hat In Time to DOOM while we're at it?
Ofc some people want it.. And you can move on to other games and go get it.. The devs have said no.. Now move along :)
I would actually love to try it in VR, just for a few min.. Pretty sure it would be exciting before I throw up :P
