It's her. In all three forms. DE confirmed.

She is not that hard to farm, just very RNG dependent - you have to get 8 parts from one mission. So probably not.

But you only need 3 parts from that mission. For Equinox you need 8.

Her ultimate doesn't shine that much early on, since it doesn't feel that strong. But you bring that ultimate to level 90-100 mission it will jump in damage like no tomorrow. It also stun enemies for short while when they enter the field and the field can cover a massive area. Low energy cost. The way it works is you kill enemies and their health pool will be added to your damage, so the higher the level the more potential damage you can add.

The only real unit that can tank the amount of damage he can deal is Grineer Bombard due to his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ armor. But then you only have to deal with him after activating it.

I suggest you never buy a Warframe from the market. none of them are worth it for the cost imo. You can get far better stuff for the same price. ( Mods , prime parts or a prime warframe entierly ).Regular Warframe are pretty easy to get and you can farm them without limitation ( You rarely need keys and such )

I like strong but versatile options.

I liked Rhino and Atlas, but anything with good defenses and versatility is ok for me, any suggestions?

If you're looking for good defenses and versatility, then Equinox's night form can also work wonders. You spam her 2, and everyone in the map falls asleep. Her 3 gives damage reduction, but I don't find it useful since her 2 can give a damage reduction of 100% (enemies don't attack at all because they're snoozing). Her 4 is nice for emergency healing if your team doesn't have Oberon or Trinity.

Her day form is all-out offense, though. Her 2 is like Nova's 4 but in a much smaller area and far more spammable. Her 3 increases ability strength and synergizes well with her 2 and 4, and her 4 allows her to kill just by walking.

And her 1 is just switching forms with temporary stat bonuses.

Since was told that I should not buy farmable frames, then what? i dont have time or patience for much farming, should I get some rare warframe mods?

Equinox is the most versitile frame in the game, having multiple modes (support, cc, dps, solo tank) that can even be run all at once. It is also one of the top 5 dps frame in-game ATM, so owning it is definitely worthwhile. Buying is up to you, as it is rng dependent. I've known people that obtained the frame in 8 runs, while personally it took 40 runs a day for 3 weeks.

Equinox is a warframe that is probably the most flexible warframe in the game.
She can be everything one team needs, support, boost, lead, CC, cripple enemy attacks, heal, tank.

Her 1 gives her temporaty bonus to damage and speed in Day mode and Armor and Shield to Night mode.
Her 2 is nice CC in night mode, in day more it reduces target armor
Her 3 in Day mode is great boost to everyone's abilities, in range, in Night mode she reduces incoming damage by a lot from all enemies in her range.
Her 4-th in Day is AoE slash proc, not too strong vs high levels but damage is acumulated for nuke, in Night mode she gathers damage made to enemies who got killed and when you close it it heals allies in range.

Auguments cause her 1 to release the most powerful specter in the game, her other half.
Augument for 2 makes it more effective by spreading effect from killed enemies
Augument for 3 boosts even further in day mode and slows down enemies in night mode

She is damn fun and my favorie warframe but I'd suggest you to grind her, boss is not hard to deal with and very easy if you can slow him down

Do not buy Equipnox. As far as Warframe goes she is very easy to farm. All you gotta do is use Forst which is one of the most common Prime frame in the game right now. Cast your snow globe, sit inside, and own. Farm, done.

Not really. Causes it's a Boss fight with several invunrablity phases + getting to Boss/Extraction, it will take a couple minutes each run. While the run isn't hard, it can feel like each one takes a bit too long. And because you need 8 parts from the same source, this is a farm that can very well take 50-100 or even more runs depending on luck.

It is not a hard run, it is a mind numbingly long one.

Why would you want to slow down a boss fight that needs to be re-fought many times? You're just wasting your and your teammates' time. If you really want to think about convenience and efficiency, Rhino is a better choice than Frost in every single way.
