each lens takes part of affinity and converts it towards it's name.

You can either stack more of the same lenses or do slower passive farm for each focus school you want

Your gains are based on what lens you have in the item that's getting the affinity. So if you have a frame and three weapons with the same schools lens, you'll be hauling in much more. But if you have 4 diffrent lenses, you can get focus on all of them.:raven:

If you want, you can put 2 lens of your choice onto warframe and weapon of choice for Solo XP farm, its a bit difficult since you have to be quite careful not to get enemies detected. If done right its nearly as efficient as farming it with group of 4, just take more work.

You can use different Lenses at the same time but one would have more affinity than the other. So lets say you have Madurai on your frame and Zenurik on your Primary. If you kill enemies with your frame’s abilities, Madurai focus on your frame would gain more affinity than the Zenurik focus on your Primary. Same thing happens with your Primary even though both of them are gaining affinity at the same time. Leveling up focus is similar to leveling up weapons and frames but you can gain more affinity from Focus by running into a Convergence Orb.

yes I tested if just right now but it seems getting xp on frame is easier than the weapon.I used my zarr to kill most of the enemies(zenurik lens on it) but my frost got more focus affinity even tho I used his abilities less.Weird system lol.

Not a weird system, you just need to know how affinity works in warframe.

Weapon kill = 50% to that weapon and 50% to your warframe.
Warframe kill =100% to the warframe
Squad members kill (in affinity range) = 25% to your warframe and 75% split between your equipped weapons.
