Vital sense or point strike?

so on my amprex im running with a split chamber, hammer shot, serration , vital sense (used to be point strike), rifle ammo mutation, a riven that gives me a lot of crit chance and damage, stormbringer and infected clip. my build deals pretty decent damage and with vital sense i have 5.6x crit multiplier but with point strike i have 220% crit chance and get crits so idk which i should use

Yeah you always use both Vital Sense and Point Strike. Hammer shot usually is not worth it, better put another elemental damage mod intead.

Hammershot's crit damage stat isnt worth while. I would definitely swap that for point strike right away. Also Id suggest running carrier with ammo case and dropping rifle ammo mutation to add hunter munitions(which can be farmed in the ghoul event that is ongoing). Basic rule to follow is that critical damage and critical chance need to be used in tandem for the best results.

i already have ammo case on my carrier and its just not enough

1) Get Hunter Munitions, deal a ton of bleed damage with slash procs from this mod
2) Install both Point Strike and Vital Sense, remove ammo mutation and use Carrier to compensate
