I did test it and found it to be just as awful as I thought. Building crit on a weapon that has only 12% crit chance does not make any sense, you will end up with more dmg by using some other mods. You need at least 20% to make crit viable on any weapon, preferably even more.

well, it makes no sense if you do not know in game mechanics such as that beam weapons crit chance is per 1 second and not per entire magazine or whatever you had in mind.

Reason Wraith version has lower base damage is because it has very good crit potential

Status chance is per second, crit is not. It would actually be even worse if it could also crit only once per second.

Status chance is per second, crit is not. It would actually be even worse if it could also crit once per second.

roll/buy riven for 60%+ to firerate with dmg and crits :D
speed trigger is enough for status there, btw.
