yeah, picking flowers to create a warframe is not what I imagined when I was downloading this game.... but here we are
but yeah, go on youtube, on wiki comments, it helped me find stuff easier and be done with it forever

I don't get why everyone is upset about that quest. There are many things in this game that are even more time consuming. I've personally didn't look for the plants all that much. I just played at the places they grow and scanned them when I saw them, at least most of 'em. If you don't actively hunt for them, it's a lot less frustrating.
On the other hand there are the 30k Cryotic for the Sibear, the Hunt for Ivara-Parts and my personal favorite, the 20 Nitain needed for Vauban Prime. If someone has a life besides Warframe, getting those can be a major pain in the butt. A bigger pain than taking pictures of plants for sure.

true, only problems is that picking flowers is not dynamic gameplay as the rest of the game is....

Vauban Prime and stuff you mentioned are classic F2P sink stuff

Not many people, just one so far that I have seen being srsly upset about Titania quest. Dude has made two threads, on same topic, because sh*t doesn't insta drop for him, and he is whining like a baby. Obviously, he has never tried Harrow/Inaros/Equinox/Ivara or Octavia farms, oh and Mesa, so he thinks THIS is bad. Saryn's boss is pretty painful too. I'd hate to see him attempt doing Harrow Neuroptics then.

Titania is literally the easiest frame to get, has immersive quest line, but takes some expensive mats to make. I was leery about her, but she is actually very cool :D

don't look for them during the day ^.^
beside that, there always 2 or 3 of them on most earth maps - see that you use the simaris scanner with the gadget for a chance of a double scan, for it will also give you 2 plant-extracts when it triggers (which is fairly often too). at one point, the resource booster also worked for "physical" things gained via scans, but i'm not sure it still does - if it does, you can get 4 extract out of one scan (or more if both booster worked and trigger, but the best i ever got was 4 extracts for one scan).

hmm, nothing of your examples did evr bother me much - and as for the plants, i had all of the "old" ones already en mass from times immemorial...
the closes thing from a pita (pain in the аss) was the hema-debacle and the current grind for all codex fragments during the ghoul-event... and maybe on a sidenote finding every single kuria, fish of a thousand pita, the cephalon fragments and the bloody cats dna (before we could get it via alert missions).
resources are no big problem usually (beside the hema thing) when one just playing the game normally and don't rush through missions and ranks like there is no tomorrow. only problems, but some i can easily live with, are some mods or parts, like the hilt and blade of war which have rediculous small dropchance from already rediculous rare enemies - about those, DE can kiss my shiny metal аѕѕ - i won't buy the thing or use my broken war for it. ever.
