when u select the "duplicates" option for mods

why does it show every copy you own. shouldn't it show you all but 1? they can't ALL be duplicates if you have none from accidently selling the stack or whatever..

now you learned, game cannot knwo if you need one, two or three of those mods so instead you should think about how much you need

Worth noting that it will automatically seperate any of those mods that you've ranked up as completely seperate mods, so those will never be in those stacks.

They are stacked by Name and Rank, so theres little room for mistake on selling all the copies of a single Mod unless they all had the same rank.
And when filtering duplicates it does it from higher to lower stack...
Also, I purge once a month any stack above 50 and leave about 2 copies, cos you never know...
Guess you just found it easier to just click "SELECT ALL"

Oh I see... well its just an organization "rule" not a new window or anything, you're just telling the game to place the mod with higher ammount of duplicates first, nothing else... and once again, theres little room for error there...

this is the logic. it's badly worded. ALL cannot be duplicates.

It can VERY easily be interpreted as "duplicates" of something you already own, or "duplicates" of the first one you got.

those sections are just filters, show me only this or that...
and the duplicates filrter aint working at all, switch between Duplicates and All and not a single Mod will change position... yes, that the issue there, the diplicates filter shouldnt list Mods that have no duplicates (only 1 copy of a certain rank)

I feel like it's broken? Like, duplicates should be 'oh I see you have 57 of this mod, that means there are 56 DUPLICATES' instead of 'there are 57 mods of this type and they are all duplicates of eachother?'

There was one single time where it seemed that my game glitched and the duplicates tab did what it was supposed to do. Aka. Show all but one. And this is how it should be because I want to sell my duplicates, not all of a certain mod. (I've become so desperate that I went through all my mods and levelled up ONE of each to the first rank so I can savely delete all other ones that are unranked. Took way too long with the 600+ unique mods I have )

yes that's what i'm saying. it's really not a huge issue I just think the wording is confusing.

Not only that (wording issue), but the "Select All" button is rarely useful for me. (maybe just me?) But I generally want to keep one or two of the unlevelled mods around. So instead of using the convenient select all button, I have to manually type in the number to sell for every mod stack.

As a user interface it could really be improved assuming that is a common process among users. I'd like to select a "keep" number like 1 or 2, then simply press one button to sell all mods with over 5 unlevelled duplicates. As a secondary fallback if that seems too risky, I'd still like to create the "keep" amount, then have the "select all" button change to "select all -2". Then I wouldn't have to spend 10 minutes typing in numbers to do the simple process that a good UI could make much simpler.

This is because you sort them by duplicates not filter. Sort means reposition but filter completely remove them from showing up until filter removed

GO LEARN YOUR UI,
there is "Duplicates Sort option" and "Duplicates Filter tab" both SHOULD serve different functions,
the SORT one is working as intended as it only rearranges items,
the FILTER isnt cos it aint doing anything at all...

check this 2 images, see if there is any change in the mod arragement...
it only removed Agility Drift cos is the ONLY SINGLE COPY from that mod, at all...
but those maxed / without duplicates of the same rank shouldnt be listed while the filter is applied...
