But it allienated the playerbase to allways expect the next 'power fantasy'. The next mod or meta that will make everything existing in the game to become obsolete. The problem is that... "It's actually doing that". And every time it DOESN'T, all these smart 's's will wave to the skies and scream: 'content draught' not realising this mentality is the one thing alone harming this game.
And this massive playerbase never stops to notice that unless balance is kept, they'll allways ask for something more powerfull and allways ask for half the game to be reworked afterwards to catch up the 'meta'. Rinse and repeat. Just a bunch of unreasonable people asking the impossible. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE DEV TEAM IN THE FACE OF THE MF PLANET THAT CAN KEEP UP WITH THAT.
An important tip if anyone is willing to take it:
Balance is for long therm player engagement.
Power Fantasy is for Casual players.
If you keep feeding casual players, do you know what is gonna happen? They'll leave. Because they're casual players, it's what defines them.
Most games would beg for such numbers. And if i look at steamcharts its actually 39 232.
Warframe is 10. most played game on steam.
Destiny 2, since i know where is the OP coming from because such threads about D2 vs WF litters the forums, is on the fourth spot with 165k, which isnt that suprising because its a somewhat new as F2P and that Destiny is also a AAA game so it will, by default outnumber other games. But i can almost guarantee you that eventually WF will get above Destiny as time goes on.
Really, Fortuna is just a copy/paste of PoE, it's all they've been doing as of lately, copy and paste

Honestly what is up with kids these days that they think 20k is a worrying sign...
Since I read so much bad publicity about them abusing their moderation power I stopped spending money and literally it made me not enjoy it anymore.
I think counting all the hours prior they started recording it I spent at least 5k to 6k hours in this game. They managed to put themselves in a deadlock. Majority is there to collect stuff and since you can just outright can buy it, at some point people just don't care anymore and either buy it or just leave it. Sure it was a really fun game back in 2013/14 when you could still farm semi-afk in 4hours survival runs and other missions without getting harassed by some WoW trolls. I remember the time where you would join a farm mission and one or two players would be parked for the AoE damage and the rest would be there for support and just be afk and no one cared. Now just don't move for 20 seconds because you have to answer your door and some kid is raging in chat because you didn't help killing 10 mobs. Or you get banned in chat because you asked a legit question or used a word like "trap".
Reminds me of abusive censorship and I don't like that.
