So how are you guys doing about the Hema research? The weapon looks good but I don't know if it deserves boycott or farm.

eh my clan has always been small so we really dont have the resources to get the hema without hours and hours and hours of farming. So we just do a little farm every so often get a few hundred samples when we can but its just not something we can feesably do in a timely manner.

The Hema is a mid teir rifle... its not going to beat out even the likes of the synapse for example in terms of raw numbers. So no its not worth the 5000 samples... i'm just a huge fan of infested weapons...so i'd like to get it since i never buy guns/frames in this game. On that note its MUCH faster to sell prime parts and BUY the weapon with plat over farming samples.

The REAL worry is that this gun may be a requirement for later research down the road... and considering it would take someone roughly 80 hours of non-stop farming just to get 5000 samples... that's the real worry.

One of my clanmates asked me to start the reasearch but i told him that despite having more than enoug samples (i have 6k out of the 5 k needed) i won't be making any contributions because the weapon adds nothing to my gameplay, so ym 6k samples remain for something, let's say "more usefull", it is likely that my other clanmates will have to come in (as expected by DE) and help my clanmate research the weapon, but if the majority of the players don't want the weapon researched, then we don't research.

Researching hema is more of a "should we" thing, not a "can we", because yes, i can alone do it, but i don't see a reason to for now.

about 6k in on my storm clan. Its been uniteing the clan and giving us more reason to farm ODS, which has been very fun and what DE intended. I havr no problem being patient and getting it later.

congrats you just told DE its ok to stupidly over price research to inflate plat sales =3 i could buy it to but its not worth 235 plat they are asking, vote with your wallet boycott it don't give into there corprate greed...

The only reason i have have it is since it came with nidus in the bundle and i'd say while its decent and pretty enjoyable at the moment its not really worth 5k+ samples and if its a requirement for something the thing that needs it better be a rideable freaking lephantis jr.

My Ghost clan is basicly me and one other guy that pops on every so often... in the last few days ive managed to get a whooping total of 26 samples...

Yeah this is gonna take me a while... id not bother with it personally, but hey... its the only thing NOT researched in the clan dojo, and that weighs on me since i was happy that id finally got it all completed (and in my clan im the only guy that contributes to research).

Ill slowly put into it, heck took me 4+ months to get Sibear completed. Ill just potter along.

Eh, I'm not going to do it. Killing infested on derelict is not any more interesting than doing it anywhere else.

The rifle sounded interesting to me, but not enough for the effort. And I've heard it is not particularly accurate, which also diminishes my interest in it as a headshot bonus weapon.

In my mountain clan about a hundred people contributed, however we only managed to get about 20k samples of 150k completed which is complete bull. The requirement is too mounstrous for even a hundred people. COME ON!

so far the ghost clan i'm in are about 75% through after doing lots of ODD missions. with a nekros we gather around 93-100 mutagen samples each per run.
