Got all the parts in about 5 rounds, running to wave 8 each time. Was nowhere near as bad as farming Equinox.

doing equinox atm, spent an hour spamming tyl and i have all but night helm i'd say nidus was worse =P i can destroy tyl pretty easily

Hope that last piece pops up soon, I remember getting down to the last few parts and it felt like the game knew I what I wanted and was actively trying to piss me off.

I don't think the first part is true, but I can agree that RNG is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You should not use the expression 'round' when you mean a mission. The Nidus part drops in the 4th round of a mission, but only when you are lucky.
That means you must continue to gather information three times per mission to reach round 4. When you made round 4, there is a drop chance for Nidus parts (about 25-30%).

You need about 9-10 missions, each played to round 4, to get most of the parts. With bad luck, you get double parts, then simply do more missions until you have them all. The double ones can be sold for some credits.

Addendum: the 4th round, the 8th, 12th and so on have this drop chance, this is called Rot (Rotation) C in the game. Rotation C = 4 rounds, or 4 * 5 mins in defense/ survival missions.

The thing about RNG is there would be people who need to spam it 20+ times for a single piece even if they increased the chance to get them to 99%. Getting the exact results probability predicts is actually unlikely because it implies that a purely random system may have a logical system, which means it is not random at all. Chances are, with the odds the blueprints have and the number of players, somebody out there built Nidus thinking the blueprints were guarenteed every 4 manifests.

That's why. You gotta do at least 16.

there is zero point to doing 16... absolutely none.... zero going to 16 is same drop chance as doing 3 rounds of 4. Just do 4 and then do it again, its actually faster... why? because enemies remain lower level and your kill ratio and serum drops will be more common. I'll never understand why people stay for super long runs, there is literally zero benefit to it aside from challenge.

that said the drop chance is equal across the board its the fact that there are a bunch of useless mods in there that screw you the most its all luck...

Because it's a lot faster to keep going when the enemies will probably take more time to be killed and be in greater number, than to get out for 20 seconds and go back in from wave 1. /s

i played like 6 games for nidus, got two systems, one chassis, and one neuro. the other 2 were cards.

Run solo as a Nekros, I got the last 2 parts i needed after about 5 goes (to rotation C)... that being siad when i was in a sqaud i got 5 chasis in a row... :(

But yeah soloing it is ALOT faster (in some cases half as fast as in a full squad)..
