What is the main goal for playing this game?

So, I have play it before and don't get me wrong, this game is fun but I stop playing it because I don't know the real goal of this game. It's not competitive and I don't understand why I need to drop on some place and kill some monster and take back something then go back to my ship and then? Well, that's my question.

LoL and Dota 2 is a competitive game and the goal is to destroy enemy's giant NOXUS(JK). And my goal and role in game is to have a solid farm, out play and make myself look like a pro and yes the best things is rank up the MMR. CS GO also the same.

But for Warframe, I don't know why I'm doing all this killing for. It's seem like a really popular game and combat is cool but I just can't find it's main goal to keep me playing it like CS GO or LoL. Please explain me while I'm redownloading it! I really want to enjoy this game like the other dude does. I used to play 1 PvP match and it was fun but I don't think that PvP is the focus of this game. I always Solo because playing with other is hard to find match. Thank, everyone.

Warframe is a grind game. The end goal of Warframe is literally to just grind out everything and have absolutely everything in the game (all frames, all weapons, all companions, all mods, have everything in the game scanned, play all missions, etc.).

I wouldn't say the end goal is to have ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. It's more realistic to say the end goal is to have all of the "best" stuff...which is subjective. It may be the best meta weapons and frames or it might be your own favorite weapons and frames. Having absolutely, every single weapon and frame in the game would be extremely redundant.

judging from your comparisons, op, i would say this game is not for you. even if it had a ultima goal (other then just master everything and looking cool doing it), warframe has a great tendency to NOT holding the hands of new players - and if those are not comfortable using other means of getting their bearings, they leave the game early.
you would be better off with games that are strait forward and with clear directives - and that is in no way something bad.
maybe, if you come back to warframe i a year or two, it will have a greater line of story than now and you could compare it with gta (which i spoted in your profile), where you also have a great range of freedom in what you are doing - for now, warframe is a big fat sanbox full of weapons and frames to have fun with while speculating about its somewhat strange universe and history (some people actually like doing this ;)

by not holding new players hands you mean pushing them to the ground, taking a poop on their heads and then shoving flaming balls of lore down there throat? Then, if the player survives, it is helped up byt the game and handheld at endgame?

I thank to everyone. I get the ideas of this game after read all your comment and try the game before go to school. So, It's just a sandbox game where we need to make our warframe look cool by collecting stuff and when we're cool, We can go to the PvP or some place to see how unique our warframe is. Then there's a class and the class is define by us, player. I'm decide to be a Angry Ninja Warrior which I go stealh till some of them make me angry.

I think my warframe is unique because I only use Bow and Sword which make me look like a character from Avatar the movie.

They are nice and kind.
Also collecting mods, items and prime things satisfy me.
What about making yourself a new goal.
It will make the game much fun!

What's the point of playing any video game? It's for entertainment and fun which I assure you Warframe is.

But what fun is it for? NFS is casual racing game. GTA is a killing simulator while warframe is unknown genre. I just can't play a game without knowing what it is. For metaphore, it will be like ask me to kick a soccer ball without knowing that I'm playing soccer ball or tennis ball.

it's one of those multiplayer co-op loot games. like borderlands sort of.
