optimizing download cache hmm?

Optimizing Download Cache has been a launcher setting for the longest time now.. it feels like people are just now are discovering these options for some reason. shaking my head

It's not that people are just now discovering it's an option, it's that the update made it so it does it automatically as it needs to.

Well generally the first time one does the optimize download cache it will take a long time but any after that go fairly fast.

I did a cache optimization last week. It took me like 30 minutes and it went fine.

Now it's Mirage Prime update, it's been more than 2 hours and it's still stuck at 55% of cache optimization.
I reloaded steam and Warframe's launcher and nothing changed.

The fact is that to get these 55% it took me litteraly 2 seconds, then nothing moves.

DE Christmas gift I guess.

Yeah, I just finished the optimization thing, I closed it after it finished went to do other stuff, came back opened it again, took another freaking 30 minutes to do the optimization thing, while also slowing my computer to a crawl, cant even play other games while its doing. ♥♥♥♥ me

ya i just recent upgraded my rig and jsut redownloaded today... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... ( the install itelf was rocket fast ) basic install ran smooth like it did on my old system.. ( than i got hte optimizing download cache screen ) than it took 2 hours to finish the update.( even after messign with teh side settings in the lil gump ) i think something happened to their launcher tbh. ( a mini bug like 3 years ago ) .. ( and i have fios.. so i know its not my internet at all )

I am done waiting, screw this. I wasted like 1 hour on this crap. I am gonna play something else. watching youtube videos can only get so far, and Since while it does it crap. I can't even play other games, because it slows everything down to a crawl. I am DONE........

Same here, took me hours to wait for the "optimization"---was perfectly fine before Mirage update. Now? won't even bother launching WF again until next hot fix...
