Took me about 1½ minutes to download the update, now at 10 minutes or so on optimizing the cache, and at 37%
reason for such thing to happen is probably repacking game files for some new approach, preparing the game for future content.
It is not something that happens on every update
Hmm yes, a 512gig Solid state, is unreasonably slow :S and it is low on free space, only 180+ gigs left.
My gripe is with the damn optimization thinga majig hogging resources and service priority, makes everything else slow down while it is running, from web browser to media players.
Would be better if they gave us an option to opt out, or run the optimization say when we might want to do it?
