What is a good high damage build for the war?

I dont have any primed melee mods and none of the expensive stuff like maiming strike.
I havew one forma and a catalist on it.

I would recommend using warframe builder. Players submit a build for a weapon or frame and the community rates it. I believe you can find a high dps build that doesnt invest too much on there.

Yes but all the ones I find require a lot of mods I dont have.

Beef up impact damage a bit with what mods you do have, like Collision Force and/or Heavy Trauma, then work on either crit or status. Hybrid builds can work, especially if you use the dual-stat element/SC mods. Make sure to get the attack speed up as high as possible, and max your mods. Simple enough.

Basically just Pressure Point, Fury or Berserker, Reach, and 90% elemental mods.

But that would be pretty subpar. Crit does FAR more damage and scales FAR better than pure damage could ever hope to achieve.

alright. I can only get the crit to like 32%, but that doesnt seem that high for me

Because Blood rush+Body count or drifting contact is a most have mods for every melee crit build.
