upgrading Speed trigger for bow

So speed triger says it will double the charge speed on a bow, but when I upgrade the mod it does not say it will get any faster. Will upgrading speed triger for my bow do anything?

It only speeds up the charge speed to a certain degree, I forgot the least time you need to charge it but it's not that useful anyway as automatic weapons outclass bows against multiple targets, I suggest trying to enhance the how's damage and crit chance/damage for it to be able to insta kill someone when you're trying to stealth

It increases how fast you can fully draw the bow. And since Warframe is a fast game, you want this. To me Speed Trigger is a mandatory mod on all Bows.

What it means is that whatever the modifier is will be doubled for bows.

So if it is say 30% for everything else, it will be 60% for bows

Except for everything else it's how fast it spits bullets, but for bows it's how fast it draws the string back

Speed trigger is a must. As other users have mentioned, it affects your draw speed. As fully drawn shots deal significantly more damage than partial draws, you want this, especially if you're opting for a slower bow like Daikyu.

Actually, Daikyu is so slow I would recommend Vile Acceleration instead.

yeah for bows speed trigger is needed for sure. the only bow i don't have it on is the rakta cernos since it already draws the arrows really fast. a nice alternative is vile acceleration which gives a total of 180% for bows but at the cost of -15% damage which is nothing bad really.

With speed trigger/shred it's not too bad. Personally, I don't like going for anything that will negatively impact damage, but it comes down to what you value more.

If you want a higher fire rate use vile acceleration it is well worth the -15% damage it has.
