Warframe
Are warframes truly immune to infestation?
Warframes and operators are said to be immune to infestable but Mesa and Chroma could be infected from Alad V's experiment.
Some of my thoughts are that Warframes' void shield and armor protects the inner biotech and Alad V injected the spores into the Warframe, past the coat itself.

The inner core of warframes is technocyte. Warframes are infested to begin with, but infested flesh can be controlled in multiple ways.
So is it possible that the transference link the operator is using something similar to the Infested net mind?
But then again if the inner technocyte is infested flesh then why are we vulnerable to infested spores? Why does the Warframe need a breathable atmosphere unlike the infestation?

Best analogy for this is saltwater fish vs fresh water fish.

Apparently not - as we get infected by the hemocyst.
In short - yes, kinda.
Mesa is not outright infested - she's hijacked by Alad's mutalist collar. Other than the collar she is fully pristine.
Chroma also doesn't show any signs of infestation, nor he fights at the side of infested. He's a leash dog, placed near relic to defend it. Relic was placed in a ship, that was later stranded and overrun by infestation. Thus when he got reactivated and rushed to the defence of the machine, we had to fight both him and infestation.

Also about spores. What is inside of warframe is presumably a sterile and docile strand of infestation, mixed with heavy dosage of Orokin alloys and bionics, while normal infested are constantly mutating and rampantly changing ones. Even if those spores are not necessarily damaging to the technocyte part of our frames - it is probably not particulary good for the rest of it.

Archwing proves, that frames don't need atmosphere at all.

I think that difference between frame flesh and infestation is similar to difference between domestic fire and burning forest.

No, it doesn't. Read the wiki.

-It is confirmed that an Archwing possesses life support, allowing its user to remain in vacuum space without repercussion, as seen in the trailer and Mag Prime's Codex entry, in which the author quoted: "I could feel my lungs fill as it wrapped me in its wings...."-

Because the orokin would not want to make the mistake that made the infested a threat to the entire system. They gave the tenno some sort of infested inner structure For control over the warframe and the outer shell which is so the infested does not take over the real warframe and becomes a threat. However my theory with nidus is that he was on eris but the jordas golem cracked his warframe and the infested had a escape route so they escaped and infected the shell
so badly that he could communicate and even control a tamed strain of the infested, Helimith.
which may be why it will not physicly attack the warframes, but just to give them a immune system incase their shell gets attacked and puncturing damage to break the shell. Slash damage
will not break it because the shields are specialised by the helimith to contain the outer shell.
So really every warframe is like nidus, the orokin tamed a infested strain so the frames could control the outer shell without gravity of the 200 ton shell crushing the inner structure. The operator has access to void leap into the Helimith and exit the frame, as seen in Transfurence But his focus Ult. will only see the helimith mixing with the frame's power to create a projection of
the operator hovering and using the warframes power to make the ability go into full effect.
I think we might use a different strain? perhaps the hive mind is an out of control transferance glitch, which eventually blew up into a living creature

but who knows, space magic I geuss

Not at all! They'll just conform to the hivemind again after a while!
WHAT ABOUT NIDUS????
Why is he "the infested frame"???
