Are there any plans for a market place? (warframe.market doesn't count) This chat is terrible to work with/trade with. All it is is WTS WTS WTS WTS WTS WTS WTS WTS. No one buys......

I'm relatively new to this game with 70 hours of playtime and I was avoiding this trading system since the beginning.

It's just really weird. I don't know what to sell or what to buy.

After a few fossa - jackal runs, I got a few rhino parts... But I guess they are worthless. Maybe sell it to the market for credits???

I tried to trade with a mate, but we can't figure out how to trade in this game...

I really want to buy some new frames. Don't even need them in prime... I'm bored of playing the Excalibur.

But all I see on trade chat, are high end stuff... prime here and riven mod there for alot of plat.

Ok I will farm for myself then...

Btw: the idea of a auction house sounds great to me.

In a clan Dojo that has trading post built or on Maroo's Bazaar in Earth. Requires mastery rank 2 or higher to trade.

You also cannot trade normal warframes or weapons, only prime bluprints, prime weapon parts, mods and faction/syndicate weapons.

On topic: I'm against auction house because it would likely crash all the prices, because supply is much higher than demand on most of the items. They just stay in the player inventories or go to baro because there is no easy and fast way to sell stuff and people are too lazy to trade chat or .market the items. That wouldn't be the case with in-game auction house.

You can't trade normal Warframe or Weapon blueprints, nor can you trade resources. To trade with someone you have to either go to Maroo's Bazaar on Earth then one of you has to press 'Q' then setup a shop then the other person interacts with your shop to prompt a trade request OR you can use your clans dojo (if you are in a clan, if not then you should join a new player friendly one) then use their trading post after you invite your friend to your dojo. Which you can do by right clicking their name while in your dojo then selecting the 'Invite' option.

Also, https://warframe.market/ is your best bet to price check / sell stuff as a new player but don't think that the lowest prices on there are the actual prices, since there are people who undercut often, you can easily take advantage of that by selling your items a few platinum more than theirs (it will take a while for the cheap stuff to sell but you will be able to sell it for a bit higher than those people anyways). How the website works is that you make and link your account then put up SELL orders then leave the website open while ingame then people will use /w yournamehere to whisper you, so that you can invite them to trade or talk with them to trade and that is all there is to it. Just note that your Mastery Rank (MR) determines how many trades per day you can do and you want to join a clan that has a 0% trading tax (it makes it easier for both the seller and buyer).

There's a filer option in trading chat, you know?
There's 2 options: search for and ignore.

Just make a filer that ignores any message that has WTS in it, you're welcome.

Also forbid "riven" whilt at it, too.
Now you wont see "WTB riven for".

......you farm everything in this game for free, you don't "buy" it. Those "worthless" rhino parts are what you use to build the rhino Warframe for free. Just because the game has a microtransaction market does not mean that's the only way to obtain those items.

it does and it doesn't yes its a nice tool to have but, the fact remains its a third party entity, we shouldn't have to rely on it.

The Warframe Wiki would like to have a word with you!

Also, I enjoy our "dark ages" trading system. It really makes this game have a unique experience, albeit an imperfect one.
