They had it coming (they had it coming)
They had it coming (they had it coming)
They had it coming all along
there is some "newer" stories from symmaris scans, one of them take plase shortly after orokin fall. So basicaly orokin technology devided by rank and all cool stuff like relay and such was controlled only by top brass. Suddenly they all dead/gone/cant use techonology anymore and their whole civilization stuck. with no relay they lost ability to space travel. Orokin's own Dex legions was already weary from constant fighting with infestation. And then greener slave-workers started a rebelion puttin last nail into orokin coffin
lol this^
Do explain in detail so I can know more. :)
Must be those precious Fissure missions that you guys killed them all
They are split in genetic casts. Corpuses were families of mid-tier workers, the Orokin of all kinds (from Councillors an Executors to Nobilite and Navigators) were ruling class, Grineer were lowest kind genetically dumbed down worker cast and a bunch of other casts existed in between. In short, opressive and imperialistic society with very materialistic views and strict separations between various gene-casts.
When Old War (with Sentients) happened and Sentients returned from Tau to wage war on Orokin, Orokin used Tenno to unconscioussly power biomechanical battlesuits, the Warframes, to combat Sentients, who are very weak to Void radiation. Tenno were never awake, brainwashed, fully sedated and only used strictly as CPUs of their Warframes. Natah (now known as Lotus), last remaining daughter of one of the Sentient rulers Hunhow, were to infiltrate Orokin empire (which she did) find and seize control over Tenno and whatever controls Warframes (which she did), using overwhelming power of Tenno crush Orokin resistance by beheading all of the rulers (which she did) and then deactivate tenno, effectively killing them (which she didn't, and instead rebelled against her father, becoming sorta Big Boss of Warframe). Instead she hid Tenno on the Moon and send the Moon into the Void, where Sentients can't reach the tenno, if they ever reactivate again.
So, in short, Walrus sama said - because Natah said so.
Or once the tenno realised what the orokin were doing.
Idk really though
Personally I believe it's a combination of the second and third, and that we did it of our free will. The evidence for this is that the tenno felt guilty about what happened, and why would they feel guilty if it wasn't their fault? Also, there's no evidence of the sentient ever possessing mind control. In The Second Dream and War Within, we also get plenty of examples detailing the horrific mistreatment of the Tenno. First, we were locked away and forgotten. Then, when the Sentients started ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the Orokin, they realised they could weaponise our powers and beat the Sentients. Transference was created for this, and it likely wasn't perfect at first. Numerous Tenno probably died for it to be successful. Then afterwards ( and numerous times beforehand ) the Orokin tried to have us executed, almost always prevented by Margulis. When Margulis was executed, the Tenno were afraid that they were next, and angry that the original space mom had just died. It would make sense to seek revenge after that, would it not? If Natah was involved, she probably showed up and said " kill the Orokin for candy or some ♥♥♥♥ idk what kids like " and we went " yeah we were gonna do it anyway but cheers ".
That explains why Corpus has a bit of higher tech than Grineer.
Is the Big Boss a reference from MGS? Lol.
Well that just spawned a new question: If Natah/Lotus is so powerful, why Sentient didn't use her to win the war? Instead, letting her infiltrate? So that Sentient would never lose it in the first place.
Is it something like Lotus just pops up on your HUD and tells you to do whatever dafuc she tells you to, and you obligate? Lol. Fooking kids.
In short, she's not powerful, she's smart and sleazy. Also, she wasn't used from the get go because she's the daughter of a ruler. A very valuable asset.
