Yes.
Because it recharges my shield.
Dude it recharges your useless shield.

The wiki hasn't really a lot of personal opinions on the article. Wouldn't be a wiki if it was full of that.

I personally use it because I really haven't got anything more useful to put in. It's not much, but it does something.

You realize there is a comment section on each wiki page? It has TWO PAGES of personal opinions.

Here are a few from the first page:

This... seems so useless. Applies to base shields only. So, a maxed level warframe with 300 shields (100 at unranked) will only get the benefit of 60 points of overshield, so far as I see it. I don't understand.

When I saw this before looking up the wiki, I thought to myself that this could be useful, giving me 60% more shield capacity from my 300 shield capacity.

Can this mod give Inaros shield? (Like allied Ospreys and Orokin Drones?)

Don't think so because it's multiplicative of the frame's max shielding, so in Inaros' case it's 0 x 1.6 = 0.

He was asking here, not on the wiki. You cannot possibly forbid people using the forums as intended.

edit: besides, I was saying "article". Not interested in the comments section.

by the way it's the shield recharger of the sentient and I read that it only activates for 10sec and has a cooldown of 30 sec, so you receive x/4 % of shield and shield recharge rate of your base shield strength.

So I was still wondering how the opinion is on this forum.

In my opinion its worthless, such a small boost. There are better more useful choices, if you have them, and room for them.
Walkampf Oct 8, 2017 @ 6:56am
I don't use it. Sentinels have quite a few amazing mods already.

But people should keep in mind, DE might implenent a shield gating mechanic.
That whould make this mod incredible, since, when the ability is started, it doesn't stop when you take damage. That whould be 10 seconds of borderline invincebility.

Such as? Not doubting you, just wanting to have a viable alternative.

edit: just to explain myself here. The only thing I could replace that with after the active abilities of the Sentinel, HP and armour is in would be Fired Up which doesn't do anything for me in a bit higher level missions.

The mod is called shield charger and you thought it gave you overshields?

Amazing...
Sceles Oct 8, 2017 @ 7:30am
No, it's useless because the sentinel AI does not know how to use it properly with Guardian.
Kou Oct 8, 2017 @ 7:54am
I've never used it before. Literally not worth it.
Foxtrot39 Oct 8, 2017 @ 7:58am
I say useless until you use a warframe wich has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of shield as it recharge rate is based on a %

But even then its useless considering guardian mod exist

It is generally useless, but not as useless as Sanctuary.
It gives shields to squad members nearby, so it's more effective in group play I guess :cmwgg:
