How to elemental combo?

Hello, issue - I need to have corrosive + heat on my weapon, but no matter how I put mods in I always get gas + electro, what am I doing wrong?

You need to put the heat mod after corrosive mods.

The slots are in this order:
1234
5678

If the weapon has any innate elemental damage then that gets always applied last.

Mods have to be slotted in the correct order; from top left, to top right, to bottom left, to bottom right. For corrosive and heat you need to add electricity or poison first (which order for these two does not matter) and THEN you add heat.
