Earth night time missions
Is it just random or are some missions night time and some are day time? I'm doing silver grove quest, need to find specific plants.

Day time , and night time are measured.

if i recall its 60minutes of day and 40minutes of night.

i don't think any quests are specifically set at night/day ..but of course i could be mistaking.

Day night cycle on earth switches every 4 hour, refer to deathsnacks.com/wf to check it on the bottom of the page.
Plains of Eidolon switches every 100 minutes for day and 50 minutes for night.

Another place you can check, that has seemed reasonably accurate, has been http://warframesta.us/index.html

But I really do not understand how it makes sense for Cetus to have a different day/night cycle than Earth when Cetus is apparently on Earth. I imagine we can come up with some kind of fantasy explanation, but ...

Having Earth change to Cetus cycle would be much better I think, it gives people more opportunity to hit different content. Otherwise with a fixed (same time every time) 4-hour cycle on Earth it happens that by the time I can get some game time in, it's day time and by the time it changes back to night I'm already in bed. Ever day.

DE pretty much gave the reason Hot Butter said. While on Earth Tileset, Day/night isn't really changing anything appart from about... 3/4 plants ? Plains got lots of fishs and the Eidolons restricted at night only and new player can't really do anything except during daytime, so having less time for both is better. 4-hour cycle would be horrible for the plains.

If day/night isn't really changing anything (apart from plants and graphics), i imagine your point was that there's really no reason not to change day/night duration for earth to match cetus?

yeah it only changes a few plant spawns, which are inconsequential. UNLESS OF COURSE YOU'RE TRYING TO GET TITANIA WITHOUT DROPPING A COUPLE HUNDRED PLAT IN THE STORE. omfg they need to either fncking show the day/night timer for the rest of earth like they do for the plains or change titania's quest so i'm not CONSTANTLY WAITING FOR NIGHT TO GET THOSE DAMN MOONLIGHT DRAGONLILIES

Two year old necro?

Whatever... I have said before that showing a timer for it would be nice in navigation.. haven't checked in a while so I wonder if they already added one.

but the plains timer is for day/night on the plains ... not the Earth day night cycle that is different.. or is that there too?

Hello, I have a problem, cetus says night, but the missions are during the day, how do I find out when the missions will be at night?

Cetus and earth timers are unrelated with each other. There is no in game indicator for earth time. It switches every 6 hours and you can check it on this site: https://hub.warframestat.us/

It's labeled Earth in Cycle Timer section.

Also INB4 "necro".
