Plains of Eidolon "level" scaling feel way off to anyone else?
Just get the feeling that the level scaling is way off to what it is everywhere else. Level 16 enemies in Plains of Eidolon feels like they are closer to level 25 on regular grineer maps.

Or is it just me?

They did mention the enemies here would be stronger, they have crazy high bleed procs. So the damage of the level 40-60 enemies are near like 80.

nah, that's not what I mean. Like, it feels the Armor rating for them is insanely higher then normal. You know those dropships that come down? I have a pretty strong Soma Prime, and even level 16 dropships, red crits with an 8x multiplpier are only doing....around 110 ish.

Eh, yeah those are tanky my pandora can handle them at 16 easily, but when going past that i don't even bother. Not to mention killing them doesn't even kill the enemies inside they just fall down like ''sup''. They have gone a tad overkill on those ships.

I like the higher difficulty, but it does feel like a very cheap n lazy way to increase it.The mortar turrets are the only real issue ive had.If you dont notice one off in the distance and start a defend objective, they can one shot the objective and fail you.It also warns you not to leave the area otherswise you abandon the mission.Yet the mortar is miles away.

I mean you're shooting a ship with small arms fire, not surprising it takes a while. I will agree that the levels act levels higher than what they actually are.

Yeah, the Mortar turrets are Not fun. Failed quite a few bounties because of those.

And yeah, I do like the higher difficulty setting, but at the same time, it does feel a bit unfair you NEED riven's to solo anything above middle range, and even then, with Mortar turrets you are still rolling the dice as to if you complete or fail.

Didn't use any riven, my standard Ash, Vectis P, Akstiletto P, and Nikana P is able to finish the highest bounty without too much problem, but yes, the Bombard Mortar and the Mortar Turrets are incredibly annoying.

Tusk troops have stronger armour scaling, it is true.

You don't need riven's lol. Just did most of the stuff with my Ember Prime and generic weapons without special mods, challenging yes, but no need for Riven Mods to solo stuff.

Yeah..this is the most BS that can happen, having those mortars just chilling miles away from the objective like that.

Ive been using an ember with an ignis and it doesnt seem that hard at all. Yeah the mortar turrets can 1 hit me, but once I noticed them (I died to one in one hit and made sure to find out what it was) they are cake to dodge. Even nighttime is kind of a joke, because the sentients fight the grineer, allowing you to do what you need without even getting attacked.

I've used Ember prime. Or rather TRIED too, and I was shredded within seconds on anything except the first difficulty, and I built a WoF style build, power strength and range. The only frame I have that survives so far is Rhino

Or how about Grineer with just Regular ass rifles firing at you from like...almost to the point where you physically can't see em?

No they aren't but pay attention to what weapons they have, SOME of those enemies are using arcwing guns i've seen one or two totting a grattler and any of the ships hit exceptionally hard because you are meant to go arcwing to deal with some of those i think many of us are still waiting for research to finish so we are at a distinct disadvantage right now.

Dropships and Ogmas (ESPECIALLY ogmas) are just broken. Rest is matter of awareness really... except for ramparts maybe, they either do obscene damage or ignore Mesa's Shatter Shield.

For normal PoE its level 6-40 or so. But they are about the difficulty of level 10-60s (tusk enemies have higher stats all around). If you do the 40-60 bounty, the enemies become level 40-60s, and are far harder than normal enemies of that level. At night you can find enemies about 5 levels higher than day (from what Ive seen), so at max you are fighting level 65ish enemies that have the armor/damage stats of level 100s in other areas.

In essence, play like it was a sortie or a long survival and you will be fine (the dropships have extreme armor and need a corrosive weapon to really kill effectively).
