To me the camera distance is a bigger issue than the FoV. But both could use adjusting.
I am all for more options to accommodate players that can't play with the current FoV but I see no reason to have to see my whole frame at all times.
@the OP props on a much more concise, mature and informative post.
BTW not everyone here is a fanboy that will rip into you for having ideas, its just nice when we don't have to read a wall of angry text full of hearts.
It will cause headaches, literal sickness, eye strain and is ultimately very bad for your health.
I get it myself but playing on a large screen (32inch) seems to keep it at bay for most games.
Unfortunately not everybody has the money or means to purchase big screens so really it should be increased to at least 110 maximum FoV, for the players sake.
90 is a good FoV and will not induce it in most cases.
Just to add, after playing for about 30 hours now I am noticing a pattern of mild headaches after playing the game so I guess its still too low for me and I will have to stop playing it for my own health.
Its a shame, no matter how much I like the game or want to play I just cant.
do not hesitate to give your opinion. Positive or negative about the carema distance and fov.

By the way, that dev you're talking about is the only one who comes to the Steam forums on a remotely regular basis. If you want DE to pay more attention, I'd highly recommend posting this on the official Warframe forums around here: https://forums.warframe.com/forum/193-feedback-categories/
this goes pretty much in the same way as for those player who would like to play in 1st. perspective (which i find useless in a game like warframe, but if people want it, why not?), and is only a minimal change (though in case of 1st. person perspective, the work is a bit more complicated, else you would see parts of the frames head. the aiming mechanic though should not be a problem since (and i'm pretty sure it is) it's vector calculated from the weapon to the target (and therefore, the crosshair can stay like it was).
What would be really nice: a way to fine-tune the camera position in addition to more FoV options. If people could get "confused" by them (if that's the reason why it's not implemented, I can actually understand), just add a reset button as well and it should be fine, I think.
This please.
They would provide option to set the camera further away ( like most tps ), honestly i would give a try.
Too see a great game come so far, and do so well, but still lack (I gotta say) one of the most basic options all pc-gamers have come to know at this point in time; it's just plain sad!
Problematic for pvp? Then make a cap of 78 or 80 or 90. Whatever works.
It can only improve the game. Its a quality-of-life thing that people need in a grindy game.
