[SUGGESTION] Integration of Discord "Rich Presence"

I hope you are familiar with the Discord. If not, here's a quote from Wikipedia...

More other video games (I'm not sure if I can name them, but there are a lot of very popular games) already made the Discord presence hooks, and I'd LOOVE to have it on Warframe too.

This post is not ment to be an advertisement. It may contain some trademarks not relevant to Warframe or it's creators, but how else was I supposed to write this somewhere? And I don't currently have time to change the preview image to warframe (photo edit...).

The work may be worth it, you know? The coding would not take long, definitly not more than a day, so don't worry. Only the fact that other popular games did not hesitate to create this hook may get someone thinking... And for people that play with friends may appreciate it.

well... lets say it like this:
DE isnt known for being very fast with any update at all.
and also there are more pressing matters, its not that i don't want this to happen,
just that it should happen when there's actual time for it.
and yes, its hard to write down something like this in a non-advertisement way.
so I'll just look past it for now ;)

If there are any more pressing matters, than I'm okay with it. It's normal that player-suggested features usually get to the game very rarely and with long time of waiting.

Client works fine tho, but overlay and game itself are linked, so that's another issue I already mailed to Discord some time ago...

Well, Discord overlay is not required for the presence to load up. Overlay is only for changing current voice channel in-game wiothout 'Alt-TABbing' all the time. And if you disable the overlay for warframe and enable it after you already started the game (so you're in client, not launcher), you're good to go (but you have to disable it after you stop the game and reenable next time et cetera, et cetera,...)

And you are able to remove the overlay from launcher and keep it in WARFRAME:

It's not an advertisement and it should also be fairly simple to implement.

In fact, it's possible that DE is already working on it.

I don't think that the overlay has to be active for the feature to work.

I probably wouldn't use it myself, but since the devs themselves use Discord I imagine something like this could happen and possibly soon.
