I hate camping on low levels(100 below) and people wandering around too far away from the group. On survival, I prefer to stick into one big room where life supports spawn and with several junctions of room connecting to it. I feel thrilled and happy jumping around killing enemies while all together not spreading the loot out of reach that much. If efficiency is what we are talking about? I usually don't care running things according to meta, I enjoy experimenting things on survival than in the Simulacrum. Well since most of the community are like what you have said, I suggest playing solo on survival. I hate how survival runs are conducted nowadays and even before, but that's how most people find it fun and fun itself is subjective so I won't grudge them for it.
You're playing the most pointlessly grindy looter shooter ever yet have the nerve to complain that camping is boring?
Get nekros and try to desecrate when everyone runs left and right like rabbits and then talk again
Guess RNGesus find it funny to match me with players like the OP, so I have to run the whole damn map, even for Reactant or Survival Relics... I think most of them think they get an increased reward out f those "oranges stats" at the end of the match...
Guess playing higher tier gives you a different way of looking at resources like the Life Support dropped by enemies and Energy Cells at Excavations...
Any time I guet into a mr5 or lower group I advice them how they work, 30% per pod and 4% per enemy drop... and 1% = 1sec... yet they run to activate every pod in sight while at 90% and overfeed excavators like 100% with 5 secs remaining..
Sometimes I think they trolling smurfs but even those should apreciate the affinity increase by staying colse to eachother and the loot...
Also, Life Support Pods' activation gives you 50 health - which is laughable, I know, but still. Also also, every LS drop grants you five percent LS, not four, and it is depleted at a 1% per 1.5 seconds rate, not 1% per 1 sec.
I've always seen enemies LS add 4%, maybe the count down makes me perceive only that ant not 5%... and sry, the 1=1 was for the excavator... and I can tell you they have no need for any of the renegenation bonuses at Survival or Excavation cos my Equinox is CCing 95% of the enemies while the other 5% is getting filled with holes from the Vaykor Hek and procing health quite often, they only fall while trying to push the mobs to the corner of the map, away from the rest of the group...
just leave the group and look for an other group would be my advise
i can understand the advantages of staying in one place, even more if you having chars like nekros or hydroid in the party, but I wanna play the game and not sitting and waiting for loot.
And I also tried the other route, playing as trinity with friends who played hydroids. up to 10min their attacks kills everything. and in the meantime I did button smash the (2) and sometimes the (4) of trinity, and did other things on the phone because nothing to do, I didnt even need to look on the screen. Was it efficient in terms of loot? Sure it was. But I was mega bored at the end of this.
fun > efficience.
