I use almost only Rhino Skin. When needed- stomp and roar. Can't see myself switching to other frame.
What you do next is find weapons you like. Kill stuff and just generally find yourself some more frames and weapons
There are two syndicate mods that turn rhino into an amazing tank: ironclad charge and iron shrapnel. Together they let you charge into a bunch of enemies, gain a ton of extra armour and let's you refresh your iron skin immediately upon gaining the extra armour so your iron skin is even higher (on a good build you can be looking at 100k iron skin after charging into 8 enemies)
You also want to mod for armour as that's where ironskins strength comes from. In fact you don't even need health or shield mods as your iron skin will be more than enough.
After that mod for strength and effeciency first then range then duration.
Duration only really benefits roar and how long the enemies stay stunned after stomp.
Range will also boost those two and your charge (which can be useful with ironclad charge)

A bit confusingly, both the Scindo heavy axe and the Galatine are classed as heavy blades, so they share the same stances and general characteristics. The Galatine is just somewhat better than the Scindo overall.
Rhino works well with any sort of melee weapon because of his CC resistance while Iron Skin is active. This means that even melee classes without momentum (i.e. CC resistance) while attacking don't have their usual disadvantages. Heavy blades have momentum so you aren't at a disadvantage there, but they do go well with him.
For a starter player, I would recommend Intensify (+Power Strength), Stretch (+Ability Range), Steel Fiber (+ Armor), Vitality (+ Health), Continuity (+ Ability Duration), Flow (+ Max Power), and Streamline (Abilities cost less to cast). All of these mods are easy to get and you can level them up fairly easily (with the exception of Steel Fiber and Vitality which you likely won't get to full level for some time).
Redirection (+ Shields) is overall unnecessary because of how often Iron Skin is expected to be up, but you can put it on if you would like. Alternatively you could put on something like Armored Agility or another movement based mod if you have them.
Once you get access to corrupted mods and syndicate mods you can begin incorporating some other stuff like Rhino's Ironclad Charge and Iron Shrapnel augments. Until that time, just stick with the basics.
Got any weapon reccomendations? It's just I used a sword for melee, the Mk-1 Kunai, and the Paris for my Excalibur, it's just I don't see Rhino being gentle and quick with a bow, or using throwing knifes with a slim sword, I'm I imagine him with,
Melee-Some sort of battle axe, duel axes, or scythes
Secondary-pistols or duel wild,
Main- A really big gun, no I'm just kidding but something, tanky, idk..
And yeah mabye that's just me..
The best way to think about Rhino is that he lets you play with a weapon you want to experience without having to worry about being Crowd Controlled all the time. Just looking at his abilities they are fairly basic, but they get the job done.
Roar has some interesting uses because it buffs both weapons and warframe abilities.
his stomp is a great emergency crowd control and if you're using a charging rhino then his roar should give everyone +100% damage minimum.
what now? The most important thing really is getting your mods up to par... maxed out and acquisition of the good stuff. Almost as important are getting a stash of forma and reactors. The idea simply being to jack as many mod points as possible into your favorite items (and over time that could mean more than 10 weapons and several frames not to mention pets). Rhino can hepl here, as he can do nightmare mode mod runs easier, or push you up to a planet that was too hard with other frames. But there again, use it, but don't rely on it.
Nezha is a direct upgrade IMHO, being able to make your whole team immortalish (good enough if they duck and dodge), CC a room & aoe, teleport, trail of fire builds can be nasty, slides like you took a dip in an oil vat, and generally is really strong.
