I got the Rhino Warframe. Now what?
I mean, like, its cool and all, but what weapons should I get? A axe, and some heavy guns to go for the tanky look? And what mods do I need, is the Rhino even good?

Hes good but pretty boring, just a meatshield you can stick whatever on. and get into the thick of it. Decent melee or close ranged weapons work well on him.

All of the frames are good they just each fill different roles with different play styles. Rhino can be built as a tanky frame with his iron skin, for damage buffing with his roar, cc with his stomp, or decent aoe damage with a different stomp setup. Weapons are completely preference based and since you are new to the game I would go with weapons you have the best mods for since mods are by far the most important aspect of this game.
Rhino is just decent at the start to clear the star chart as iron skin requires little investment to do well...as for weapons... this is gonna depend on your MR and general tastes... but i always liked the HEK on my Rhino, and Lex as my side arm and the Fragor as my melee because nothing says lovin' like a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥' hammar (i use the brok skin).

Rhino works well with power strength and duration, as those affect his 2, 3, and 4 pretty substantially. You may want to put steel fiber on as well, as iron skin strength scales with your armor stat as well as power strength.

Rhino Prime is my main. Before I used normal Rhino.

I use almost only Rhino Skin. When needed- stomp and roar. Can't see myself switching to other frame.

Jat Kittag This just suits Rhino so well.

What you do next is find weapons you like. Kill stuff and just generally find yourself some more frames and weapons

There are two syndicate mods that turn rhino into an amazing tank: ironclad charge and iron shrapnel. Together they let you charge into a bunch of enemies, gain a ton of extra armour and let's you refresh your iron skin immediately upon gaining the extra armour so your iron skin is even higher (on a good build you can be looking at 100k iron skin after charging into 8 enemies)

You also want to mod for armour as that's where ironskins strength comes from. In fact you don't even need health or shield mods as your iron skin will be more than enough.

After that mod for strength and effeciency first then range then duration.

Duration only really benefits roar and how long the enemies stay stunned after stomp.

Range will also boost those two and your charge (which can be useful with ironclad charge)

Same weapon loadout here aside having Magnus as secondary (even though I don't like its sound fx). Throwing Grineers bodies around with Hek shots it's hilarious. :trolol:

If you like heavy blades, I would recommend the Galatine at the start.

http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Galatine

A bit confusingly, both the Scindo heavy axe and the Galatine are classed as heavy blades, so they share the same stances and general characteristics. The Galatine is just somewhat better than the Scindo overall.

Rhino works well with any sort of melee weapon because of his CC resistance while Iron Skin is active. This means that even melee classes without momentum (i.e. CC resistance) while attacking don't have their usual disadvantages. Heavy blades have momentum so you aren't at a disadvantage there, but they do go well with him.

For a starter player, I would recommend Intensify (+Power Strength), Stretch (+Ability Range), Steel Fiber (+ Armor), Vitality (+ Health), Continuity (+ Ability Duration), Flow (+ Max Power), and Streamline (Abilities cost less to cast). All of these mods are easy to get and you can level them up fairly easily (with the exception of Steel Fiber and Vitality which you likely won't get to full level for some time).

Redirection (+ Shields) is overall unnecessary because of how often Iron Skin is expected to be up, but you can put it on if you would like. Alternatively you could put on something like Armored Agility or another movement based mod if you have them.

Once you get access to corrupted mods and syndicate mods you can begin incorporating some other stuff like Rhino's Ironclad Charge and Iron Shrapnel augments. Until that time, just stick with the basics.

Thats kinda what I figured, I used Exalibur, my starter frame, seemed to have more existing moves, It kinda like the passive stomp and the charge, not much of a fan of the buff abilities.

Got any weapon reccomendations? It's just I used a sword for melee, the Mk-1 Kunai, and the Paris for my Excalibur, it's just I don't see Rhino being gentle and quick with a bow, or using throwing knifes with a slim sword, I'm I imagine him with,

Melee-Some sort of battle axe, duel axes, or scythes

Secondary-pistols or duel wild,

Main- A really big gun, no I'm just kidding but something, tanky, idk..

And yeah mabye that's just me..

Seems cool, Thanks for the melee weapon and suggestions for mods!

The best way to think about Rhino is that he lets you play with a weapon you want to experience without having to worry about being Crowd Controlled all the time. Just looking at his abilities they are fairly basic, but they get the job done.

Roar has some interesting uses because it buffs both weapons and warframe abilities.

Rhino is considered a casual frame for a reason. Ironskin lets you completely ignore status and gives you an impressive amount of survivability if you mod him right and makes corpus spy missions surprisingly easy as he doesn't get knocked down by their laser traps.

his stomp is a great emergency crowd control and if you're using a charging rhino then his roar should give everyone +100% damage minimum.

immortality is awesome but don't rely on it. Got to learn to duck and move unless you want to be dead on higher level maps.

what now? The most important thing really is getting your mods up to par... maxed out and acquisition of the good stuff. Almost as important are getting a stash of forma and reactors. The idea simply being to jack as many mod points as possible into your favorite items (and over time that could mean more than 10 weapons and several frames not to mention pets). Rhino can hepl here, as he can do nightmare mode mod runs easier, or push you up to a planet that was too hard with other frames. But there again, use it, but don't rely on it.

Nezha is a direct upgrade IMHO, being able to make your whole team immortalish (good enough if they duck and dodge), CC a room & aoe, teleport, trail of fire builds can be nasty, slides like you took a dip in an oil vat, and generally is really strong.
