Reasons for second account/"reroll"?
Hello everyone,
So I have an account that I made 2 yrs ago.
I bought maybe ~$80 worth of platinum (those 50% off coupons got me lol).
But I didn't spend them on smart things, from what I remember. It was things like buying Zypher, and some other frames and a few slots.

So short story short; I wanna get into warframe again, since I don't really remember much bout the game.

But is there any reason to start over, or have more than 1 account?

Silly question, I know, but just want to see what people say.

Having more than 1 account doesn't really serve much of a purpose, nor pros.
But instead, it's actually one step closer to a con.

Since ToS for Warframe is that, a player can not have duplicate accounts interact with each other. (To prevent 'farming' platinum discount etc) While this may not be something you do, this increase the risk of ban, whether it be DE's automatic system false positive, or just that one time you accidentally have two accounts interact.

For old returned players, once you start up the game again, it should offer you the chance to complete the 'new' tutorial, which should pick anyone right back up, if they've forgotten how Warframe is etc.
Use your old account, you might already own useful or even valuable items you could keep or sell to others for a bit of starting plat.
oh god no, don't restart
I came back to the game after 3 years and doing just fine. Though it did put me through the introduction and tutorial stuff again. If you already did all that but can't remember it you can always replay it (not 100% on intro but definitely other quests) from the Codex on your ship.

You don't really need to know much at all to get through most of the game. Just keep levelling your gear and damage/health/shield mods. I have to say the game has improved so much over 3 years that it went from being something i only played for 2 hours and uninstalled to my current favourite game. Definitely a good time to get back into it.
Alrighty, I'll stay with the old account then. Def. don't want a ban lmao. And yeah this was usually a game I played once a month for an hour or two. So no idea how to play, but I did manage to pick up some Prime weapons and frames.

Any good guides to read up too? I'll look for that tutorial, I didn't get any notification for it, only the Twitch Prime thing.
The chart helps, thank you! what are Relics? And what was that "School" thing I had to pick when I loaded back into my game? Something bout playstyle?
spoilers
a school is a ''perk'' for your operator
relics are ''chests'' that are opened in void fissure missions
And also any keybinds you all suggest rebinding for easier movement or play?

maybe X to something else you're more used to (its usually e or F in other games, even Q)
that way you wont spam X in other games

Toggle Crouch, Sprint, Sprint/Roll, and Chat.

I use the following for those:

Toggle Crouch: Z
Sprint: Shift
Sprint/Roll: C
Chat: Enter

But you can change them to whatever you feel works best for you. You can also check out http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Maneuvers#Sprinting to learn all of the parkour mechanics and how to do them. Bullet jumping being one of the most useful, rolling for being able to take 75% less damage + avoid CC if timed correctly, and aim glide for being able to control your movement a bit better while in the air or use to go over open large open areas (in some cases)
And how do I know if I completed a mission on the Star map? I see a "unlock all missions" pop up for something, but idk which missions are left lmao.

If you see a mission node that is white then you have finished that mission (counts as completion), if it is blue then you can do that node, and if it is gray then you haven't unlocked that yet.
what if the mission has weird symbols on them, different from the white and grey ones?
Perhaps if you haven't advanced at all and you want to start off with a 75% plat coupon, and never do it again? Maybe? Other than that I don't see a reason other than just wanting to experience it all over again completely fresh.
