tiberon, worth the cost of a latron?

is it worth losing the latron to craft the tiberon?

Everything is worth getting because you have to level it up one day or another.

Its pretty much trash, but it can kill up to sedna if you mod for pure damage.

If you mod it for pure damage it can be strong beast. Unfortunately pure damage won't take you very far.

I'd say no ... I got it and hate it. Preferred the Latron by far.

The Tiberon has a nice mechanic and skin, 3 shoots per trigger.
But the insane rekoil make´s the weapon useless.

1. 3 bullets per shot is nothing new. That's called a burst rifle.
2. Replacing "c" with "k" isnt cool anymore since over 20 years.

well, i believe that you will get wraith or prime version of latron, so it's worth it - it will give you some mastery points at least.

I thought the tiberon was one of the best burst fire weapons (in terms of fun/functionality, not damage), I recently rebuilt it just to try it again and I still like it. It's not really end-game viable, but I don't think the recoil is bad at all... Maybe the sicarus and burston changed, but the burston literally made me quit back in the day because I spent a bunch of time farming for credits, building it, and absolutely hated it. Same with the sicarus.

Poor Tibuddy needs some buff to be viable in endgame, but for new players it's a good burst rifle, just build for pure damage.

Tiberon isn't a bad burst rifle. There are better, but it's good enough to get you through to Uranus with just a maxed serration mod. Sybaris (prime) tends to be better even though it shoots slower and has a smaller magazine size for one simple reason, status chance and critical chance. The Tiberon just has a very small status and crit chance which makes it virtually impossible to use in high end content without high end mods, formas, and a good riven since most your damage is straight per-hit damage.
