How do you switch to female warframe?

I just downloaded the game and I think i picked the wrong person how do I switch to the female warframe?

After you've picked your starting frame, the only way to switch frames is to build a new one.

Your name is not tied to your frame. You swap frames like you switch weapons. You just have to build a new one to switch to. Your name will always be the same.

You mean Mag?

If you picked one of the others (hopefully Excalibur*) you can't just switch to Mag right off the bat. You can switch to her eventually if you want, once you get to the point where you can farm her parts and build her in the foundry.

Eventually you can/will build all of the frames so it really won't matter too much who you chose as your starter frame.

*I say hopefully Excalibur only because his farm is locked all the way on Pluto so he will probably be one of the last frames you get from the star chart if you didn't choose him as a starter frame.

you need to buy or hunt for blueprints and the materials/parts.

Each Warframe only has 1 gender; they're like characters anyway.

Your username is permenant, you're good. Just think of warframes as classes, and any of them can be unlocked at any time (with a few exceptions).

Half of the warframes are male, half are female. They all come from different, unique sources.

Check out Warframe Wiki and look up the frame you want, it'll tell you how to get it from there.

you get the warframe you wants components craft them and then craft them together and you will still have your user name it dosen't change inless you want it to change

I would argue they are like gear, as you can trade them while keeping all your stuff. In an MMO swapping chars is more like a new game with a different amount of stuff and progress.

Frames are like guns, swap at will outside missions. Gender is ... sort of a human application based off whether the frame has a female or male chest cosmetic. That is really all it means.
