Does Punch Through vs. Eidolon Teralyst Work Well?
So I got a Riven for my Opticor that gives 2.7 Punchtrough -82.8% Recoil and +87.5% Multishot. If I max the punch through I can get it up to 7. I don't exactly get how punch through works, but I was thinking that for the Eidolon which has a large mass and multiple hit spots if the punch through would be good against it or not. So does anyone have any opinions or advice on this matter?

Punch through makes bullets or projectiles go through enemies.
Each one hits each enemy only once.
So no, it will not be significantly beneficial against the Teralyst.

Okay thank you. Appreciate the info. :)

Each part of the teralyst has its own hp so I believe it would work, at least before the final phase.

Punchthrough can wreck the terralyst. I've been using ice chroma with an opticor with punch through and can drop it in the last phase in roughly two clips by standing directly under it and fireing upwards. The thing has so many hit boxes that the damage is absurd.

Punch through does work. The Meta of building an amp to fight the Teralyst is to use punch through to that it hits multiple parts of the enemy to do damage several times. Ideally, you could do that at any phase of the fight. Practically, it can be difficult to pull off.

I'd reroll that Riven, tbh. Since the Teralyst is invulnerable for most of the fight (except for 4 weak points), you'd likely get less out of punchthrough than you would with straight damage.
