Breath of Eidolon is a bad joke.

As far as I'm aware, the only way to get this material is through the final tier bounty and while it is a common drop, it's actually quite rare to get considering all the other possible drops in the loot table. You also only get 5 at a time. On top of that, you can only run this mission once every 2.5 hours which means that there's no way to really farm it. I've been playing PoE like mad since it launched and only have 35 BoE in all that time.

Meanwhile, the blueprints that require this ingredient are numerous and often take 20-30 units of the stuff. Most of the arcanes take 20 a pop and a single operater outfit for example costs a whopping 120 BoE for the full suit. Now, it would be one thing if you could farm it but you really can't. Even Cetus Wisps aren't anywhere near as bad because at least you can get 20-30 in ~1 hour of farming which, while boring, at least means that they're attainable. BoE on the other hand is just depressing to try to get your hands and, at the very least, the drop rate or amount needs to be dramatically buffed (i.e. something like 4x the current rate/amount).

Don't bother with the operator outfits, they're like 90p each in the market. Considering how hard they are to craft they should be 10 times more. And you don't really need more than 1-2 magus arcanes, most of them are useless anyway.

Very late edit: I did not realize the Magus modifications work like actual arcanes. In other words you need 10 of them to complete a set. I thought I was already done with PoE but looks like the grind has just begun. :(
