What Frames Can I Obtain Through Quests?

Quests that give you blueprints: Atlas, Chroma, Gara, Harrow, Inaros, Limbo, Mesa, Mirage, Nidus, Octavia, Titania.

But for most, if not all of these you still have to do some farming for the parts themselves.

True... didn't really consider that bit. But unless they changed his quest rather significantly since I played through it (pre-starchart update), crafting his parts was still a required bit during the quest, which was why I lumped him in that category.

Nope, they changed that. Now you just get the blueprints and you're done with it.

I just did the chroma quest but it still says I need all the parts to make him from the blueprint. So is there another series of quests or something?

I am personally going for Gara, Harrow and Inaros as quest specific (maybe Nidus even though I'm temped to get him as birthday present for myself xD)

You get general blueprint for the frame, parts for it you have to farm. Same goes for Inaros, Harrow and Gara. You complete the quest and you are rewarded with general warframe blue print, then you farm for chassis, neuropotics and systems. First you build parts for the frame i listed, then combine them into via geenral blueprint for said frame. So like I am building Ember - 12 hrs for each part to build and 2 days to combine it all into a frame given I already have all the necessary mats.

Parts blueprints are farmable in specific types of missions or may be tied to a boss, like Ember or Saryn. So you have to farm those until you get all the needed mats and part blueprints. For details for each frame you are interested in, you'd have to check wiki.

Sometimes, frames are locked by quest sequence, like Harrow, or sometimes you have to buy the quest from a Baro, like for Inaros. Gara quest can be started in Cetus, it's not locked by any sequence, I have completed it very early, just Gara is not on my frame priority list right now.

Chroma's main BP is from a quest and his three part BPs are from junction rewards. But each of his parts requires another warframe's part to build, including a Saryn part meaning you'll need to go all the way to Sedna and fight a point-gated boss for it.

Let alone farm smth to fight said boss... Some sort of points or something... I just decided to roll with prime version for Saryn; less headache
