Interception missions as a solo player.

The most I've been able to do is a single stage (extract on the first opportunity), are there any tips for this?

it is a good training to master all the things ingame solo. sometimes you have to carry the whole team, like in any other video-game out there. mastering all the things solo is necessary for this!

but never forget it takes not even 10 seconds to find 3 other players... even for quest missions!

i like to try whole missions alone in full stealth (500% XP), but it is no shame to enjoy fashionframe the way it is intended to be: in public.

because an interception above lvl 60+ is a whole different story alone! a story without a happy end!

Not everybody can. Wish I could. I started playing this hoping to get that ME3 multiplayer vibe, but turns out my lousy laptop and garbage internet can't handle co-op.

Best suggestion is spectres and knowing the map. A healer ancient, a clem, and a support frame spectre like Trinity or Oberon, with decent weapon type can hold a single point for multiple rotations before needing to be refreshed. Meanwhile you can use a frame designed around damage to hold other points. If you can hold 2 points reliably and white-cap a third every now and then, you can usually complete a round with 10-20% remaining on the enemy bar. Once you start noticing difficulty to hold points, it's time to extract after that round.

Many maps have a situation where you have two points relatively close together and another one within earshot so these can be soloed fairly well. Place spectres at one of the two close ones, cap the second close one, then bounce between 2 and 3 trying to keep one of them always blue. Other maps have AI pathing which seems to prefer specific points making those points ideal for setting your spectres down, capping a point, clearing, capping the next point, clearing, and adjusting from there.

But, it's usually easier to just find 3 capable people to sit in on a few rounds. You can always deploy spectres later in the mission to help further.

Methods of doing it solo with cc (no kills);
Vauban = Bastile/ Equnox = Sleep/ Mirage = Prism/ Ivara = Sleep arrow/ Nekros = Fear/ Rhino = Stomp
Methods with killing involved;
Banshee = Quake/ Obtavia = Amp + Mallet/ Saryn = Spore + Molt/ Limbo: Statis + Banish-Cataclysm

Less effective methods;
Atlas: Tectonics augument + rumblers. Use the Tectonics infront of a pannel and they won't be able to capture the point. Rumblers (with or without aug) to help with aggro.
Chroma: Effigy, place it down at one of the points and it'll give you one less to worry about.
Use of spectres. 1 frame spectre and unit spectre.


Some maps are small and are great places to use the above methods at.
Earth - Gaia
Jupiter - Callisto
Sedna - Berehynia
Eris - Xini

Those are your only options if you cannot/refuse to play with others and must do it solo.

The problem with Nyx is that enemies affected by chaos will still go hitting the consoles and kill eachother creating new spawns which might be heading to other points. Meanwhile a singular mind-controled enemy cannot be positioned and either dies quickly or becomes difficult to re-control. Great CC in group play and with higher stages, but not that great for solo.
