As above, I used corrosive heat akbronco prime to strip his armour.

Then using nova, her 4 to slow and 2 to deal damage after priming with my tigris.

He can be dmg when he throws his collar. Just wait and aim at his head and shot when he is prone to dmg.

After he shoots his collar is when he is vulernable, so you will want to bring something like a Slow Nova then use something that will strip armor nicely. My squad one shot Mutalist Salad V with no problems.

Lenz, mesa peacemaker, atterax, aklex prime, euphona prime, the list goes on. Sounds like your doing sorties too early before youve learned how to mod and wield your arsenal.

Have a Chroma with(for example) Tigris Prime in the team.
Let it "tank" the boss - take some health damage so it boost it's personal damage via Vex Armor.
The Chroma should wait for that second of boss being vulnerable.
Then the Chroma press the left mouse button.
The boss dies.

I used Valkyr Prime and Used Hysteria (with Silva & Aegis Prime equipped) until I have to turn it off. I got his armor stripped so It took two clean shots from the Tigris Prime and he was finished. Invisiability is not really a good idea because he would receive very low amount of damage when he bring his infested bubble up. I Solo'd Him from doing that. He's more of a waiting game than Sargas Ruk
