How do I maximize saryn prime's damage?

I've looked up a lot of things and apparently spores is the way to go. However I put a lot of good mods on and my spores are only doing like 30 damage per second but they do spread decently. How do I get her to do a ton of damage?

Range and Duration. You don't need a ton of power strength.

To clarify, the damage doesn't come from the Spores themselves, but from what you can do with the Viral Status Proc that they inflict when bursting. The Viral Proc gives enemies -50% health for 6 seconds meaning that you can kill them more easily if you can do it in this duration. Bursting additional spores on them when afflicted with the Viral Status Proc keeps them at this health point preventing them from regenerating it.

Apart from that, Toxic Lash is ok. Its a melee damage bonus which procs toxin (i.e. passes through shields as direct damage to health). Its nothing too great, but it works. There's also a damage reduction while blocking, but that's nothing really important.

Miasma is... well, not too great being honest. Its ok for low level enemies, but it falls off pretty quickly.

I take it you are talking to me about Miasma since the other guys didn't really post anything except a link. I stand by what I said, it doesn't scale well. Its true that it has the damage bonus that benefits from Spores and Lash when you inflict enemies with those status procs, but the base damage still isn't enough to where it scales well.

So on the wiki it says the following for Miasma: "Maximized Power Strength increases damage to 1046.5 per tick and total damage to 3322.6375. "

We then triple those figures by assuming we are hitting enemies with both Toxin and Viral procs on them, and you still don't have an ability that is scaling well. 10,000 damage total might sound like a lot, but it is nothing at Sortie levels. Remember, you are often using weapons in sorties that hit at 40,000-50,000 damage a pop with Status effects like slash, blast, etc. Her third and fourth abilities end up being her big weakness as a frame even if Spores and Augmented Molt are great abilities. Those weaknesses are why Nova is favored for sorties since her abilities are just more reliable at dealing damage and debuffing enemies compared to Saryn.
