Is it worth investing into saryn prime?

I'm thinking on a build specifically to use the spore ability (1)

Without reaktor and forma I don't really feel the power.

Would be good with reaktor and forma?

ntohign in this game can really do much without a reactor/ catalyst... and then forma are pretty much a must to fit all the mods needed to make a decent build... without a reactor you can pretty much fit 2 maxed r10 mods like a primed flow and a primed continuity and that is no where near enough to make anything good... saryn's 1 is very powerful for mid to low level content for farming xp or mats it can clear massive amounts of mobs quickly... its not really for high tier content but you can build her for that as well...

Yeah, I understand that I need reaktor for stuff. This is why I asked in the first place. Since I'm playing only for a month the orokin reaktor is worth a lot for me. I have two right now. And I wondered if it's worth put one into saryn and then forma her. Since I like how she is working. I like this infection concept. I don't think I want to bring her into sorties. I just want a super fast trash killer for farming xp for equipment for example. Or running through fissure missions quickly.

I'm playing a lot pub but I tend to avoid defense because of the randominess of the group. Sometimes we luck out and get an insanely good trash killer sometimes we struggle.
And hopefully I can build saryn into a mass killer for these missions.

She absolutely is worth investing into. Since you mentioned clearing mobs/trash units with it, that's what she excels at. In conjunction with the right elements you can kill enemies way earlier than everyone else due to her massive range. Ember and Equinox hate her.

Very much worth it and worth a few forma too.

If I take Saryn Prime in to a good defense mission, say up to wave 15 or 20, I get a good 600 kills easy.

I chucked a greater lense on too and it gets around 20k focus points quite regularly.

In terms of nuking ability it can do normal level content. However shes awesome for higher level content by spreading spores everywhere as a damage buff to your weapons. Weapon should be area dmg to better spread spores.
