infinite chat loading

my friend is having no troubles using chat but my chat's been loading infinitely for the past 15 minutes or so, i tried restarting the game several times but with no avail

then he would get a message about it - also i think he's talking about the squad-chat or the chat in general.

did you had any kind of change in your network or a new OS just be the problem?
also, did you try rebooting your computer and/or your router/modem to see if it's only a glitch?

didn't change os, hardware, connection, nothing, it just started to infinitely load all of a sudden.

you probably got banned

got banned before and it says you're suspended from whatever chat you got banned on, and you can still see the chat icons and type in. for me, its just loading forever with no icons and typing and hitting enter does nothing

i will attempt to restart my pc and router, see how that goes

restarted my router and my craptop, no luck..

hmm, since the chat seems to run not on the host machine (at least thats what i always suspected) but on a seperate server at DEs, it might be usefull for you to first find out the ip-adress of it (by checking outgoing tcp or udp packetes to a server that is likely be near DE in canada - use whois to get the own of the server, DEs server are registered and should be so in name when querried) then traceroute to it to see if there is a problem in response time (tracert in the command in the shell for it).

uh, i have no clue how to do all this advanced stuff, i'm just a casual gamer

Submit a ticket, I've been with the loading chat glitch for 7 days now... still no response on my ticket but they don't work weekends.

I think the latest hotfix kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything.

Really ♥♥♥♥ job on DE's part with customer support, almost felt like a bot response.

dont really know it just fixed itself for me, send in a support ticket i guess. i sent one in and shortly after it got fixed, doubt it had anything to do with DE though
