Cant contribute

So i recently joined a friends new clan and i tried to contribute to the decoration he was building but it didnt let me, so he promoted me to warlord and i tried again. but even after being given everysingle permission i still cant contribute, i can do everything else but not contribute some pelase help.

Hit Esc, select Decorations > Place Decorations. Look at the item you're trying to contribute to and press 2. That should bring up the contribution screen. Not the most convenient or obvious way of doing it, but there you go.

yeah i did that but when i put my resources in it says i dont have permission to do that.
i cant even contribute to things i placed myself

you have to give them to the clan first

(there is an altar thingy similar to the trade station, that members can use to gift ressource and credits to the clan. This altar thingy also has the option to donate decorations.)

Once the clan own the decoration it can be placed but can never be removed from the clan possession. meaning if you remove it, it goes back into the clan bank. not into your pockets.

Bear in mind that this thread is from nearly a year and a half ago, before there was any way to donate resources directly into the clan vault.
