Is Nekros Prime a good attack frame?

Nekros Prime is not a good attack frame.

I've been leveling him and I'd say no. He has one ability that deals damage and it requires precise aim to hit more than a single person with it. He has another that summons minions, but I have no idea how much damage they do. Nekros feels more like utility than anything else.

Volt is better for damage, but overall I think nekros is some weird hybrid of a support and a tank, with his augments he can either be nearly unkillable, make his enemies slow down to a near halt, sustain [redacted] I mean desicration for much longer. even revive allies instantly, There are interesting builds and combinations. But no I think you would more like ember valkyr or octavia if you want a damage frame.

Nekros is more for CC (Terrify) and Buffer (Desecrate)
Survivability if you mod for #4 with augment.
#1 with augment would be a Supporting role.

But other than that, Nekros' main role isn't attack. Though it can be compensated by your loadout.

Nekros can be a super good tank with the Augment to let him gain armor from his summoned Shadows. He can also have good longevity with a good Desecrate/Defile build. But he isn't innately a tank. You'd need to depend more on the Shadows to split enemy attention, as well as using Terrify to keep enemies running and harmless.

Nekros is tanky as all hell, but has little in the way of DPS output beyond equipped weapons.
