Is the DLC in the store worth it?

I'm returning to the game after a 2 year break and thinking of buying the £14.99 DLC pack which includes 300 platinum and other stuff. Is it worth getting? Will i be able to buy anything decent such as a new Warframe with 300 platinum?

Well,i think its worth it for the platinum itself.. but u can farm platinum SOO EASY for this game that u really dont have to buy anything,however if u like to support the devs go for it!!!

personally I waited to get a platinum discount coupon from the login rewards. I've not bought any frames, only slots and cosmetic stuff.

You can trade Plat with other players by selling stuff like Prime parts and Mods.

Best thing to do first is level up and unlock most of the planets, then theres alot of ways to get em.. most common way is by trading. i like to get Axi relics then sell them or open the relics and get a rare item and sell it,theres alot of ways.

Platinum is only bought, but can be traded from player to player. With the exception of Equinox, 300 plat is enough to buy any Frame, though you may be better off trading some for a few cheap Prime sets. Saryn Prime goes for ~50-80, Nekros 100, etc. Alternatively you could buy a weapon, (I recommend the Zarr) from the market. It really depends on what you have right now. But I'd say maximise your plat, since the DLC packs are worth it, provided they're still on sale. There's a boatload of new content so have at it.
